Rumor Control

"We’ve recently had a bunch of emails from people claiming they saw a news story in various places claiming that Stephenie said she is never finishing Dark High Noon. Highlight to see the explanation of Dark High Noon —–>(Inside joke the Lex refuses to call the novel Midnight Sun. It’s like saying Voldemort in the Harry Potter world. It’s bad luck, if you say the novel title you may never see a completed version.)

From what we understand, the status of Dark High Noon has not changed since August. It’s a slow news week, folks, and we’ve been seeing a lot of rehash on tons of Twilight articles both movie and book related. You can see Stephenie’s statement on her website and a follow-up interview where she directly mentions her plans to EW. Things are no different than what is reflected on those two links!

Movie News

There are some fabulous new photos of Jackson Rathbone that are on various sites today.

To be honest, we’re kind of boggling at the irony of this one. PETA has given the Twilight movie an award as being most friendly to animals. Do the PETA people realize that "vegetarian vampire" isn’t literal and that the Cullens drink animal blood?  In the first forty or so seconds of the movie a deer is clearly killed. Did they watch the same movie we did?

Twilight Soundtrack Setting a Record

According to Paul Grein of Yahoo’s Chart Watch:

"Twilight soundtrack, 33,000. The former #1 album inches up from #6 to #5. This is the album’s 12th straight week in the top 10. That’s the longest run in the top 10 for a theatrical movie soundtrack since 8 Mile had 14 weeks in the top 10 in 2002…"

New Moon Movie News

Looks like Dakota Fanning wasn’t the only person to audition for the part of Jane.

Shock Till You Drop is basically repeating what has been the previously announced call for Native American actors. If you fit the asked for descriptions it’s probably worth your while to go down. if you are not what they are asking for, don’t go down as it only wastes your time and annoys the heck out of the production crew that will only ask you to leave.

The Mexican distributers of Twilight have signed on to disitribute New moon in Mexico.

Kristen Stewart is looking forward to her portrayal of rocker Joan Jett.

Just Jared Robert Pattinson is wishing a very special someone in his life a Happy Valentine’s Day.

What’s it like to see Jackson Rathbone’s band, 100 Monkeys, perform live? This fan lets you know.

Tri-Fold Packaging

  • The finish of the rigid case is a tactile coating called "soft touch", which is a smooth, almost velvety/rubbery matte finish. A pattern of tree branches will be foil stamped over the matte coating, which creates beautiful tone on tone imagery. The title treatment is foil stamped in a silver/blue, which completes the effect.

Exclusive Photo Cards

  • The exclusive photo cards are printed on 2-sided pearlescent shine stock, which has a sparkle effect imbedded in the paper. The (10) photo cards look really amazing on this special stock, and the back sides have the same tree pattern from the inside of the rigid case, carrying the design throughout.
