Creation Entertainment Atlanta Day 2
After an AMAZING, and we do mean AMAZING experience with Peter Facinelli yesterday where he entertained the crowd while the bands set up doing everything from crowd surfing, to playing La Bamba on the guitar, to playing theater games with audience participants…Oh my gosh, Peter you rock our world! We don’t know how many actors would have done all that. Seriously, what a phenomenal person to do all that. That is fan dedication for you over and above the call of duty.
Our favorite part was when Peter gave a woman in the audience a hug and said, “How has your experience here been on a scale of 1-10?” She answered, “About an 8 or a 9.” Peter then said, “What would make it a 10?” and then without warning kissed her (don’t worry Jennie it was on the cheek.) Then he said, “Does that make it a 10?” The resulting audience screams rivaled Robert Pattinson level and the kissee was rendered speechless.
Remember, follow along the fun we have today on Twitter when we meet Ashley Greene and Kellan Lutz.

Potter and Twilight: The Wall Street Journal’s Take
The Wall Street Journal has an article comparing the marketing strategies and target audiences of Twilight and Harry Potter. As usual, they seem to miss the point that there are a HUGE number of adults seeing both pictures.
“Hollywood marketing executives say that these days the “Twilight” franchise has influenced almost every studio marketing campaign that targets teenage girls. Some posters for the upcoming “Potter” film echo “Twilight”’s emphasis on romance. One features Harry and his crush, Ginny, gazing longingly into each others’ eyes, in a pose reminiscent of “Twilight”’s now-iconic image of its star-crossed lovers, Bella and Edward. Another shows Harry’s friend Ron with his girlfriend Lavender, while a jealous Hermione scowls in the background.
Warner Bros. and the team behind “Potter” say they didn’t take the “Twilight” franchise into account when designing their marketing materials for “The Half-Blood Prince.” Instead, they crafted a campaign aimed to resonate with previous “Potter” films, the executives and filmmakers say, dismissing the notion that there is a rivalry between the franchises among fans.”
Do you actually think Potter is copying Twilight marketing? And who says they have to compete, anyone else a fan of both for different reasons?
Rachelle Lefevre in Barney’s Vision

Robert Lantos is producing via his Serendipity Point Films.”Barney’s” tells the story of the politically incorrect, fully lived life of the impulsive, irascible and fearlessly blunt Barney Panofsky (Giamatti).”
