There is now an official site for the movie soundtrack.  Complete with news blog it will update you on all soundtrack happenings.

Currently you can listen to Decode by Paramore and Full Moon by The Black Ghosts in the online player.

The Twilight Symposium that is going to be held in Forks this summer, June 25-28, 2009,has some new information about speakers and merchandise.  According to organizers:

Kaleb Nation–everyone’s favorite Twilight guy–will be delivering a Keynote Address at a special luncheon during Summer School in Forks.  Convention attendees will be able to purchase tickets for this barbecue luncheon during registration.  Seating is limited. 
 
SSIF is also proud to announce that The Bloodsuckers, aka The Girls Necks Door, will be presenting a live podcast from Forks High School during the convention.  Attendance and participation is included in convention registration.
 
Everyone needs a jacket in Forks!  Now attendees of SSIF will be able to order their very own, individualized, personalized FORKS HIGH SCHOOL LETTERMAN JACKETS.  The official vendor to the school will be available to take your measurements and help you accessorize your jacket with specially selected Twilight-themed patches and lettering.  Show your Twilight school spirit! And if you order during our convention, you will receive a special 10% discount offered only during SSIF.

There are a collection of the photos that have cropped up all over the web the past two weeks or so now located in one place.  There is also a bunch of behind the scenes items available. TY to numerous people who emailed in.

Now for something a little different, one devoted fan, Madison, has combined her love for Twilight and Halloween.

Yesterday we reported on a number of official Twilight universe books making their debut in the next 15 days or so. Well it turns out that the movie book is now widely available. There was no one-day laydown  date in play, meaning merchants can more or less ship the item at will. Amazon.com and Wallmart (perhaps other vendors, but those are the two we heard about) have shipped the book.

It’s a huge hit on Amazon.com where it has been fluctuating between their number 3 and number 7 position all day..

Torrid, a sister company to Hot Topic is now carrying a fuller line of Twilight merchandise. Torrid specializes in sizes 12+.

Now for those of you who saw the action figure the other day, have no fear. Tonner Dolls is on the case. They make the high end Harry Potter dolls that are known for their quality and likenesses. Check out their Harry Potter dolls based on Luna Lovegood and Voldemort and you’ll see what we mean.  In any case there is a brief interview with Tonner Doll’s president and founder here.  We hope to have more info soon as Tonner Dolls has agreed to a Lexicon interview.

For those of you interested in the action figure, produced by NECA, it will shortly be available in the USA and other characters are anticipated.  No pictures yet, but they will be available shortly. The same company is slated to have key chains and other accessories.  So you won’t have to order the action figure from the UK if you are interested in it.

The Movie Fanatic has hands down the best article we’ve seen on the recent flurry of rumors surrounding the possibility of a New Moon movie. Kudos to the Movie Fanatic for putting all the pieces together and giving fans a detailed picture of a very complicated process.

The Italian Blog, La Gazetta di Forks was given an exclusive photo by the company that is distributing the movie in Italy. The photo appears to be of a flashback scene concerning Carlisle creating Esme. For those of you who don’t speak Italian, run the page throught the Babel Fish translator and you get a pretty good picture of the backstory.

Twicon 2009 has just announced that they have booked The Bella Cullen Project to make an appearance at their convention this summer.  The others currently slated to appear at Twicon are Mike Welch, Kaleb Nation (AKA The Twilight Guy), and The Evil Iguana Productions (the people behind the spoof videos)

The Eternal Twilight convention in the UK has just booked Ashley Greene. So far Ashley and Kellen Lutz are slated to appear during their convention which takes place at the end of February. TY to Kayleigh for the heads up.
