A very happy first birthday to Vesperarium the official graphics suppliers of the Twilight Lexicon. Cornie and crew have done a great job over the past year. Show them some love.
According to the Twilight Saga website, Entertainment Weekly has scored Stephenie’s first breaking Dawn interview in their upcoming issue. We’ve been given permission to repost a scan of the cover here. Look for this Twilight EW on magazine stands July 18th. Edit: I
have conflicting info on the date this hits newstands. It may be this Friday that you can get it. No matter what it’s definitely coming, just some data I have says this Friday and some next Friday. Now further clarified on all sides to be this Friday hitting newsstands. LOL, even the pros make mistakes sometimes.
The folks at Borders promised us something good for Wednesday (OK technically it’s 11:45pm Tuesday, but they said we could go ahead a little early), and I’d say they managed it. Read it in their own words:
Borders is pleased to announce the exclusive release of the 2009 Twilight Movie Calendar, on sale August 2, 2008.
When you can live forever, what do you live for? Answer – A 16 month calendar featuring Bella, Edward & their Forks’ friends! This Borders exclusive calendar is the ONLY calendar available for the theatrical adaptation of Stephanie Meyer’s Twilight which comes to life for the 2009 year.
The Twilight Movie calendar is available for reserve on Borders.com here* and will first be available for purchase at Borders & Waldenbooks stores during the release of Breaking Dawn at the “Twilight til Dawn” midnight parties.
*Note as I posted this, I noticed the the Borders site was having tech glitches. The link is correct, they just are working a few kinks out.
We are currently experiencing a server problems where the scans are. I this is a wild surprise, but I’m thinking the volume of people hitting the scans may have crashed it. I’ll see what I can do. I think I fixed it for now; I guessed right it was a volume thing.
In answer to other questions, I checked with Borders, the calendar starts in September 2008 and runs through December 2009.
As for availability, according to Borders you can reserve a copy at the time you reserve your books, and it will be be available in the US and US territories. They are getting back to us on international availability in the countries where they have stores.
Borders has mentioned that they have something coming out later this week that Twilight fans are sure to love. Stay tuned. We hear Wednesday is the day.
Bella and Edward (dot) com has a new interview with Christian Serratos, Angela in the Twilight movie. The interview that Mike Welch gave to Sci-Fi World now appears on his MySpace as well. Catch up with all the actor interviews on our actor interview page.
One of the hottest movie rentals and purchases this summer is predicted to be Penelope. The DVD will contain a never seen before Twilight feature. Summit Entertainment, the studio behind both movies, is leading a trend of independent studios in giving greater exposure of their films.
There is some question that has arrisen as to if this footage was taken illegally. We have therefore removed it as a precaution.
And finally, in case you were wondering if Rob Pattinson really can sing, really can play the guitar, we give you the following video. Thanks to Twilight Obsessed for the heads up.
