After traveling through 9 airports on three different airlines, three time zones, endless amounts of hours, as well as a temperature drop of about 40 degrees, Alphie, Ambereyes, BeMyEscape and Cocoa found their way to Portland and the set of Twilight the movie.  Here is a sneak peak of some of the amazing things they saw.  Many thanks to BeMyEscape for editing the photos together.  Many thanks to the cast and crew of the movie for being so welcoming and obliging to us.

*Edit- Just to clear a few things up.  The pictures were taken at Indian Beach which is the stand in for La Push.  The day we were there they were filming all the scenes for La Push.  Yes we do have more information, however it takes time to put it all together so please be patient.  Lastly in one of  the pictures you can see Kristen, Taylor and Catherine before filming a scene. 

The folks over at bellaandedward.com Have gone through their bandwith. Don’t worry, they are not gone forever.  I just had a couple of emails from people asking about them. I talked to Michelle, one of their site ops, last night.  They are upgrading and will be back shortly.

The Twilight Guy, featured on Stephenie’s Myspace, needs your help in writing an article for a major publication.  We love that his focus is on you, the young women of this fandom.  Twilight is, after all, a YA Novel.  So send him your thoughts on Stephenie being the "ultimate mom", from the perspective of a "girl" fan.  Check out his site here.

Twilight Series Theories posted their write up from their set visit a week ago.

Yes we’ve seen the rumors of a trailer release date. We can’t confirm that with Summit until they open for business Monday morning.

Secondly, apparently someone who self-admittedly works in a movie theater, went through a stack of upcoming trailers she freely admits she had no right to look through. She then wrote up a description on her MySpace(now friends locked because she states she doesn’t want to get fired) of the trailer and posted screen caps. Just in case she didn’t know that any of the above was breaking the trust of her employer and illegal there was this really big clue on the screen caps that said "property of Summit not for distribution".

So, why are we not linking to this? Because we don’t link to stolen merchandise. Because we don’t reward people on this site for illegal activity like breaking into sets, employers offices,  and posting the pictures they take.

Jackson Rathbone, Jasper in the Twilight movie, granted the Twilight Lexicon an interview. As you’ll be able to see, Jackson shares the same quiet charisma and old soul intellect of his on screen alter ego…in other words, start swooning now 🙂

Some highlights include:

"I walked to and from the audition playing my guitar to calm me, so to achieve a stoic over-one-hundred-years-old demeanor. And maybe a handout or two. Okay, one. One person gave me money. To stop playing… Ha."
