Breaking Dawn Tour
Stephenie Updates
Stephenie records a small snippet about the upcoming release of Breaking Dawn for Barnes and Noble.

Posted with permission from Stephenie’s MySpace:
This is just so you can get a feel for what my last year was like (not to mention writing a 186,000+ word book). Also, so people who say, "You’ve never been to _____!" can see if they’re right.
Our Map of States Stephenie has visited:
Also included in this extensive list of visits are:
Canada *
England *
Germany *
Ireland *
Italy
Spain
* Denotes visited this year.
Also, since we have had several emails concerning this. We do not have any insider information on the finer points of ticket ordering. The process was pretty clear on the last two signing tours, so I’m sure the instructions will be just as good for this tour when they have all the details ironed out and are ready to release them. We’re standing by waiting to order along with the rest of you.

Blue October
With the announcement of Stephenie’s Breaking Dawn/Blue October signing tour we have received many questions about this group, most of them asking… "Who is Blue October?"
I thought I would take a moment to introduce those of you who are unfamiliar with the group to the music of Blue October and its relationship to the Twilight Saga.
Blue October appeared on Stephenie’s radar for for the first time during the writing of New Moon. The Sound of Pulling Heaven Down exemplified the happiness that Edward felt in his reunion with the love of his life, Bella, after the traumatic events of the year without her. The song Hate Me was included with the playlist as an alternative song choice for Edward’s POV as he acts on the heart wrenching decision to leave Bella. Following the release of New Moon the group had yet another song grace the air waves – a song many Twilight fans were drawn to because of its harmony with chapter 15 in New Moon – the chapter we know as Bella’s drowning. That song was called Into the Ocean. Never has any other song so paralleled the pain and helplessness of letting go as painted by Into the Ocean, and to this day sits on many Twilight playlists as a favorite.
With the long awaited release of Eclipse came another wonderful playlist with Blue October again taking a prominent place on that list. The song Overweight signified the worries that encompassed Jacob’s life. Just as before yet another Blue October song found its way onto many fans personal Eclipse playlists. That song was Calling You and when listened to from Edward’s POV you feel the the absolute devotion and joy he has for Bella’s final choice to stay with him…as the song so eloquently states, "I can’t believe you actually picked me."
As you can see, just like Muse, Blue October has been long associated with the series and has been a fan favorite from its chart topping album Foiled to its newest release Foiled for the Last Time. We are excited to experience this once in a life time book signing event with not only our favorite author, but with an artist who has exemplified so many of our most memorable Twilight moments in song.
*Edited for Stephenie’s adjustments to the content.

More information on ticketing to come. Use the threads above to begin planning your meet ups in these areas. And before the upheaval begins, yes we know there are only 4 signing dates. And yes, that will be it for now as there are no other dates planned at this point. These are HUGE venues. The Theater seating capacities range from 1,588 on the smallest to 2,500 at the largest.
This type of signing has never been done before! This is an unprecedented event – history in the making. Please remember that Stephenie is one person and that she has already done one big tour this year! Stephenie reminded us of this on her website. She even gave a hint that she is trying to find a way so that no one will miss out on the fun.
I’ve toured extensively in the past three years and I need to scale it back for my own mental and physical health. Don’t panic, though — if I’m not coming anywhere close to your town, we’re working on a way to make sure everyone can see the fun of the Breaking Dawn events! ~Stephenie
Explanation of the New York signing bookplate:
The New York signing will indeed take place before the release of Breaking Dawn. Little Brown is making allowances for this by supplying Bookplates to those in attendance. A book plate is a sticker, like the author signed one in this picture, that can be placed in your copy of Breaking Dawn once you have purchased it later that weekend.
