Nikki Reed Tells MTV About Make-up and Hair Changes

Nikki Reed talked to MTV about the numerous problems the cast experienced with the weather in Portland wrecking havoc on the cast’s “look”.

Nikki told MTV when she sat down with them:

“We all had hours of hair and makeup in the morning, and then when we showed up on set, it was raining,” she remembered of her experiences filming the first “Twilight” flick, which hits DVD March 21. “And because we are vampires, we can’t shoot in the sun! So, we were always shooting when it was cloudy, and then there was hail, and the makeup was pouring off. It was an experimental process — now, I think, we are more prepared.”

Juan Antonio Bayona To Direct Eclipse?

The Risky Business Blog ( a subdivision of The Hollywood Reporter ) is reporting that,

“Juan Antonio Bayona has emerged as one of the finalists to direct “Eclipse,” the third movie in Stephenie Meyer’s “Twilight” franchise.

The studio declined to comment; a rep said producers were looking at a number of candidates.”

It’s interesting that the report didn’t get a denial from either the Bayona’s or Summit’s camp, instead it was a no comment. Read the full story here.

Twilight Movie Music Update

The Official Twilight Movie website has a soundtrack update that includes a preview of what’s on the Delux CD/DVD. TY to Stacey.

How to Celebrate Twilight Style

Are you having a DVD release party at your house? Look no further Celebrations has party ideas for you. They have recipes ranging from mushroom ravioli (from the Food Network’s Giada Di Laurentis) to a vampire blood punch.

They also have vampire make-up and decoration tips to set the scene just right.

Now if you need something to keep younger siblings entertained (Or even yourself because really who ever outgrows crayons?) one fan has come up with Twilight inspired coloring book pages.

Dakota Fanning On Forbes List

Dakota Fanning made Forbes’ list of the 10 most valuable young stars list in the number 3 position. She’s right behind Harry Potter’s Dan Radcliffe and Miley Cyrus.  According to Forbes:

“All actors considered here were age 19 or younger at the time the survey results were released Feb. 10. More importantly, what they all have in common is range, says producer Rick Alvarez, whose credits include the upcoming film Dance Flick. Helping them is the fact that today’s audiences are able–and want–to see young actors in different kinds of roles.”

Most Wanted Twilight DVD Extra Material

Reelz Channel polled several Twilight sites for their most wanted DVD material. You can see the whole list here. This is what we sent in.

  1. We are hoping against hope that somewhere on the cutting room floor Edward and Bella said “I love you!” to each other!
  2. We heard that Ashley Greene beamed a cameraman twice when doing the baseball scene. We’d love to see that blooper from the cameraman’s perspective.
  3. We’re dying to see the scene with Kellan Lutz‘s line “She’s not one of us, Edward” that made the trailer but not the movie.
  4. Any extra time with the Cullen family. We didn’t get enough of them.
  5. We’ve heard that there were some improv scenes between Rob and Kristen. We really want to see those.

So what do you most want to see in the DVD extras?
