You can see that the Vancouver weather is just as bad as Portland’s was. They will obviously be filming exteriors to some degree here, or they wouldn’t have bothered to paint the barn to look old, or to put up the ramps and moss.
The area is set back from the public road the camera person is standing on by what looks to be at least 30 yards. That type of distance is often doable for crowd observation assuming the crowd is respectful of the filming process (not noisy, not blocking traffic, staying off private property). It remains to be seen if the road is blocked to local traffic only once filming begins. TY to Maria for the heads up.
The new Dazzled by Twilight Store that is, among other things, now running the Twilight themed tours in the Forks area is planning to go all out for the DVD release. They have over 300 people coming to their store to celebrate.
