Whitney Port on the Twilight Movie

Whitney Port seems to be the only person in Hollywood (at least that MTV has found) who doesn’t like the Twilight movie, or at least admits it in public.

She does however like Robert Pattinson, even if she can’t quite remember his name.

  3. Eclispe will be rated R. FALSE
  4. There’s an official movie poster featuring an open-shirted Robert Pattinson and another one featuring Kristen Stewart running down a beach. FALSE (but there are some people who are talented fanartists who have manged to photoshop Rob’s head on someone else’s six-pack.)
  5. The official movie poster is only going to be the words “The Twilight Saga: New Moon”. FALSE. No, but because a movie poster won’t be done for months (usually post production) they are using the New Moon logo for a graphic at poster at the upcoming Fandango Fan Choice Awards on April 2 at ShoWest.
  6. Rob has a medical condition that causes BO FALSE, but there are a couple of Hollywood columnists that we’d like to fumigate given the chance.

Forkfulls: Tidbits of Twilight News

According to Boston.com James Woods is slated to direct Kristen Stewart in an upcoming and unnamed project that is slated to shoot in Boston.

Both Mike Welch and Peter Facinelli are slated to appear at Altanta’s famous Dragon Con which  is kind of like the Comic Con of the east, just not quite as big and with more of a fantasy edge. We’re keeping our fingers crossed that more Twilight stars may make an appearance pending their Eclipse shooting schedules.

Ashley Greene gave a quick shout out to Entertainmentwise. She reveled her upcoming workout plans to get in shape for Alice. “Before the second film I’m going to take some dance classes to get back into that. Alice is a thin girl so there was a lot of cardio.”

Billy Burke and Rachelle LeFevere walked teh red carpet at the premiere of Blood River.

Taylor Lautner looked good going into the Kids Choice Awards. He pretty much managed to stay slime free which is no easy job when the people giving you the award are covered in goo.

Meet Caius!

UK Actor Jamie Campbell-Bower is slated to play Caius according to an exclusive on the BBC. Americans will most likely remember him as Anthony (the sailor who is the love interest of Joanna) in Sweeney Todd co-starring Johnny Depp and Helena Bonham-Carter.

According to the BBC:

“I do know who else will be in it – but I can’t tell you, unfortunately.

“But go online and have a look at the rumours,” he said, then added: “They’re all false. You’re putting me in a terrible situation.”

Taylor Lautner Accepts Twilight Kids Choice Award

Twilight won the Kid’s Choice Award on Nickelodeon for favorite book, and Taylor Lautner accepted the award on Stephenie’s behalf. (We’ll replace with better video when possible)

Somehow Taylor managed to avoid the slime, even though co-presenters Hugh Jackman and Sandra Bullock tried their best to have Taylor feel the green and gooey love.

Get In Your Last Minute Votes!

It’s not too late to cast your vote for Twilight over at the Nickelodeon Kid’s choice Awards. TY to David for the cool widget!  Robert Pattinson was originally scheduled to make an appearance, but unfortunately that’s been canceled due to his shooting schedule. Twilight to Win Fandango Award

This just in from the folks at Fandango. Sign up here for New Moon updates from Fandango.:

Twilight Picked by Fandango Moviegoers as Favorite Film
First Annual Fandango Fan Choice Award to Be Presented April 2 at ShoWest

(Los Angeles- March 23, 2009) The popular vampire love story, Twilight, has been selected by 78% of participating moviegoers as the top film of 2008, as part of the polling for the first annual Fandango Fan Choice Award. The new award will be presented to the studio that produced Twilight (Summit Entertainment) at ShoWest, the world’s largest theatrical convention, on the night of April 2 in Las Vegas.

During the Hollywood awards season (February 9 – February 27, 2009), over 69,000 film fans voted online for their favorite film at www.fandango.com/awardswatch. Moviegoers were asked to pick their favorite film from a list of 2008’s top ten domestic box office hits (which included The Dark Knight, Iron Man and Wall-E ).

Although it was not the top-grossing film of 2008 (that honor goes to The Dark Knight), Twilight ended up receiving more fan votes than any other title and went on to win the Fandango Fan Choice Award. According to a recent Fandango survey, New Moon, the Twilight sequel set for release on November 20, is among 2009’s most anticipated movies.

Twilight clearly struck a chord with mainstream moviegoers,” says Ted Hong, Chief Marketing Officer for Fandango. “Although it was overlooked by the Academy and the top critics’ groups for nominations in 2008,Twilight has a remarkable online fan base, which was obviously instrumental in helping it win the Fandango Fan Choice Award. The franchise’s huge following shows no signs of abating.”
