While you are impatiently waiting for the MTV Movie Awards Pre-Show, Our friend Jed from The Movie Fanatic has written an excellent article about some of the up and coming male actors featured in the Twilight movie.  And asks the question…

Who’s Your Favorite? 

So pop on over and let The Movie Fanatic know who your favorite up and coming male actor in the film is!

Catherine updated her production blog with a reminder to watch the MTV Movie awards pre-show.  Just remember the Pre-show airs at 7:30 pm.  Expect the clip to run sometime between then and when the awards start at 8pm.  (Eastern Standard Time)  Robert, Kristen, and Cam (who is up for an award that evening – Good Luck Cam!)  Will all be walking the red carpet.  Look for some awesome Twilighters in the red carpet stands sporting signs and t-shirts!

We know many of you have been getting errors when you post on the forums lately.  Pel is rebooting the forum server.  This should take anywhere from 15 minutes to 1 hour.  Then all should be well again. No worries.  Until the forums are back on line, feel free to wander the front page adding to the theory count down conversation.

And last but certainly not least, the villian we all love. Edi Gathegi (aka Laurent) has updated his blog announcing his newest film project!  He is staring in the movie My Bloody Valentine.  Pop on over to Edi’s blog and show him some legendary Twilight Fan support!

What is a producer?  According to The Producers Guild: "A movie producer initiates, coordinates, supervises and controls, either on his own authority, or subject to the authority of an employer, all aspects of the motion-picture and/or television production process, including creative, financial, technological and administrative. A Producer is involved throughout all phases of production from inception to completion, including coordination, supervision and control of all other talents and crafts, subject to the provisions of their collective bargaining agreements and personal service contracts."

So who is Wyck Godfrey?  He is one of the three men (Greg Mooradian, Wyck Godfrey, and Mark Morgan) who produce the Twilight film.  We had the opportunity to meet Wyck on our trip to the set of the film this past April.  He shared many things with us about his experience on this film an many others.  In one conversation Wyck was kind enough to share a story about the scene they had shot the night before, the scene we commonly refer to as…The Meadow.

The day had been rainy and throughout most of the rehearsals it poured.  Wyck had been hoping for just a small enough break in the weather so that they could get the shot.   The shot we are all waiting for, when Edward reveals himself to Bella in the sunlight.  As the day wore on it seemed that all hope was lost as there seemed to be no end in sight to the rain.  And then as if by divine intervention at approximately 6pm the rain slowed, the clouds parted and the sun broke through, down on the meadow and Edward in all their glory .  The shot worked out perfectly with even the sun playing its role.

Thank you Wyck for not only sharing your thoughts with us on the movie, but for working so diligently to stay true to the story we all love.  This is a producer who is fully committed to telling the visual story of Twilight.  We are lucky to have him overseeing the project.

On pg. 418 (hardcover) Edward tells Bella that the PRIME candidates for Emby’s father are Quil Ateara Sr., Joshua Uley, or Billy Black. He says PRIME – that means there are other possibilities.

On pg. 118 (hardcover) Jacob is telling Bella about when Sam changed the first time. After Sam had phased back to human he met Mr. Ateara and shook hands. Mr. Ateara realized what was happening and went to the elders. Then Jake says, "They were the only ones left who still knew, who remembered. Mr. Ateara, Billy and Harry had actually seen their grandfathers make the change."

If they saw their grandfathers change (phase) that means their grandfathers weren’t aging. So their grandfathers could be physically the same age as them or possibly just a little older. So, one of the grandfathers (Levi Uley, Ephriam Black and Quil Ateara) could have been Embry’s father.
