Despite reports from various sources (one in particular which paid so much attention to detail on their supposed inside story, that they have Bella falling in love with another vampire in New Moon) there is nothing new on the sequel front than has not already been previously reported. Various outlets are just putting a slightly new spin on old news:

• The actors initially agreed to three movies should the film do well
• If the film does well, Summit wants to do at least the next two, and depending maybe the 4th (they’d have to pay everyone some big bucks on the 4th because it wasn’t in the initial agreement)
• Catherine Hardwicke has said that she is interested in continuing with the other movies
• Screen writer Melissa Rosenberg has said that she is interested in continuing with the other movies

So, do we think the next two movies will be made?  Yes, we do. Is it official? Not Yet.

How did you become a part of Twilight? Did you have to go through the regular auditioning process for it, or had they seen you in something?

Jackson> They were casting for a couple of months, considering different people for different roles. For me, it was fairly simple. The audition place was close to where I live, so I just walked there, with my guitar, for the auditions and two callbacks. The first one, I happened to bring my guitar by pure chance, and then, for the next two, I was like…..

How much input did you have in the script?

Meyer: It was a really pleasant exchange from the beginning. They were really interested in my ideas. I didn’t want to get in the way and make it worse, so I let them come to me and they did. They let me have input on it and I think they took 90 percent of what I said and incorporated it right into the script.

There is a lot of TWILIGHT coverage this week, but lets start off with the biggest of them all…the TWILIGHT Premiere! We will be handing out wristbands that get fans into the fanwatch area for the premiere on Monday, 11.17.  It will begin at 12pm PT near the Village and Bruin theater at 961 Broxton Ave.

The Twilight soundtrack is number 1 on the Billboard charts. This is an amazing feat for a yet to be released film. According to Stephenie Meyer’s website Atlantic Records informed them that,

 "Twilight Soundtrack is #1! It has been confirmed today that the Twilight Soundtrack is the #1 most-selling album this week in the U.S. according to Billboard! This is a huge feat for a soundtrack BEFORE the movie has even been released, and really goes to show the passion and dedication of all you Twi-hards out there. So a huge thanks to everyone who picked up a copy, we hope you are loving it!"
