Here we go with round 2. There’s one more group after this. (Links to part 1 and part three)
When the heck was she ever in a bath robe in the book?? Apart from before Jacob’s POV started..
Really? That’s what you’re worried about? Bella in a bathrobe? I’ll just stop myself right there.
I know that many of us have a problem with books to movies, but all I can say to those that whine about it; go to school; learn about directing; get rich so you can pay to make the movies; then make the movies exactly how they should be done by the book. There are many books out there that I would love to see; by the BOOK; like the Hunger Games Trilogy, or the Mortal Instrument Series. If you could do those by the BOOK, just think of the millions you could make. We as readers, always hoping to see the movies as written, very seldom get to see that, as with Lord of the Rings, maybe someday the screenwriters and directors will do our well loved books justice.
don’t get mewrong i’m happy with the movie so far, but the fight scene with the wolves is complete bull!!!!!
What is so dramatic in the wolves’ heads just wouldn’t come out on film. I think that is why they made it into a big confrontation scene.
You guys are thinking about that when there are even more big yell fight scenes to be thinking about that they showed. Or did we all just not notice that Edward was yelling at Bella ‘you didn’t give me a choice’ after she said ,and these might not go together but they were rioght after another in the trailer, ‘you have to accept what is’. Cause that is what im thinking about right now.
Sorry spelt something wrong. Oops! I meant ‘but they were right after another’. Sorry for the inconveince.
Movies are always differant from the books people! When are you ever gonna get that and stop complaining????
Hear hear!!! Totally with you! I’m tired of reading the whining!! Compromises and changes are sometimes made but all that in the books in some way, or another, is there. Just because its not spelled out doesn’t mean certain details aren’t there. I love that the movies allow some things to be expanded on or observed from different points of view.
obviously they’ve already turend the first book into one. as for new moon and eclipse, they’re starting back to back film production in march. breaking dawn is still up in the air and not final or official. they base their decision on making a movie by how well the movies do in theaters.new moon and eclipse production was finalized soon after twilight was released in theaters.so 3 out of the 4 (as of now) will be movies.
I so agree! I think we have to learn to separate books and movies and take it as two different things ;D
I like that they’ve added the fight scene. The movie would be completely boring after the honeymoon otherwise.
I agree. They needed to add something to make it more visually appealing.
What’s up with Bella’s hair on the couch when she is sick with the pregnancy? It looks VERY FAKE!
I am excited to see the movie.
Not sure, but it is Kristen’s real hair
All, I have to say is, where are the bruises? I mean the part with the feathers is supposed to be when she wakes up with bruises all over her body. I knew the movie would be different than the book, it always is. This looks closer than any of the other movies, but no matter what there should be some things that should stay the same. The other thing that bugs me, is Carlisle’s hair, seriously out of all the wigs they have made Peter Facinelli wear in the movies this is the worse. Other than that, I know I’m going to like the movie, if not love it.
I think they don’t show the bruises because of the raitings trailers also get. Sometimes things related to violence are digitally removed so the trailer can be approved to all audiences. They have done this on other movies before… And in this case it might be, one to get the raiting and two not to get parents all rallied up about domestic violence in the movie (…which I wouldn’t be surprised will be an issue when the movie comes out, with the overreacting parent organizations and women rights organizations).
But we know and understand the reason for the bruises, and I do want to see both their reactions the morning after
I was wondering the same thing in that shot. And they could have digitally removed them, that’s true. I’m going to go out on a limb here and make a guess that they are going to to totally leave out the bruises. If you haven’t read the the book(and lets face it alot of movie goers haven’t) and you don’t understand the reasons for them, then it could come across as domestic violence. I’m not advocating leaving it out or anything, it just seems like the kind of hot-button issue that Summit might try and avoid. I could be totally wrong, but I’m thinking it could happen.
for god’s sake!! stop complaining about bella’s hair!! did you expect her to look like a supermodel during the pregnancy????
agree! (: They do say in the book how she was really weak during the pregnancy.
i am so excited.
Yeah, there’s no way they’ll be able to leave the bruises in, it’s just too controversial. And the birthing scene will likely be drastically different as well. There’s no way they’ll be able to show Edward performing a C-section with his teeth in a PG-13 movie. Regrettable, but, inevitable.
they should make it rated R so we can see more stuff!!!!!!!! Like I want to see what I read, but I know I will be happy with the movie! (:
