Without giving away the details of the plot, Jackson definitely showed us that he is a versatile actor who can play various parts. If you caught the episode, what did you think?
okay,I might be a bit biased toward Jackson because I’ve liked him since I was like nine and saw him on Disney 411, but I think he definatley kicked butt on this episode! I mean first: he’s a preetier girl than me and his that his voice?! That is monsterly high and very southern belle. Second: overall good acting and in the scene where Ried is watching that video of the fight; did you see his eyes? And all the glares? Awesome.
Thirdly: I am amanda. *pop out hip* he is showing he is a great actor to do this roll and be a drag queen. I can totally see his band mates laughing at this entire thing.
Anyway, I love Jackson and he rules as an actor. No one should doubt that. I can’t wait to see more…
First off, I am a HUGE Criminal Minds fan. When I found out Jackson was going to be in an episode, I screamed.
The best part of all this is that I totally called the plot yesterday morning when I was talking about it to one of my Twilight-obsessed friends.
I thought that Jackson’s acting was incredible, especially near the end. And I really loved him in the interrogation scene with Reid (More on this later.). It was just the way you could see his entire self change when he would switch personalites that I really loved.
Now, Spencer Reid is one of my favorite fictional characters ever. I really couldn’t have asked for a better episode. I was just hoping for a little screen time between the two. I was in no way expecting a Reid-centric episode. So it’s easy to guess that I LOVED the epic stare-down of epicness between them.
In all honestly, this was probably my favorite episode of the entire series so far. I probably would have still loved it without Jackson, but he just made it all that better.

I love Criminal Minds. Jackson was brilliant and it really showed his talent. I didn’t really like him before but now, I absolutely love him! When I saw him and Reid -who I already love- I swear, I had a fit. Ha ha =P.I can’t wait to see him in other things now. Great Job Jackson!!
im not signed in but whatever… i have to say that yesterday was the first time i watched criminal minds, and im in love with the show!! it’s really intellectual.
jackson is a reallly good actor. i was totally sucked in. he should totally get the opportunity to act in more of these kind of roles to show so many other people his talent.

I saw the episode last night because I’m a HUGE fan of Criminal Minds and Twilight. Jackson was very good in his role and played the part perfectly. *spoiler alert* I wasn’t expecting him to be the Unsub so I was pretty surprised. Him and Reid were amazing. Because in my opinion Reid/Matthew Gray Gubler+Jackson Rathbone=ADORABLE!!!!!!!
BTW, is anybody gonna start watching Criminal Minds now because of this episode? I admit that I was majorly creeped out by the DID(Dissaccoiciative identity disorder) and Adam’s alter being a female. He does look pretty odd as a girl, though.
I dunno if anyone else has mentioned this but…does anyone else think he kinda looks like James Franco in this picture?
i found it rather interesting, omg, is he a good actor or what, playing a person with multiple personality disorder, he is very versitle, and no wonder they choose him to play jasper. and he is also super adorable!

Fantastic! We were busy last night and so we recorded Criminal Minds and watch it tonight. What a good actor you are Jackson. My granddaughters introduced me to Twilight” just a few weeks ago. Twilight was good, but Criminal Minds really showed what a talented person you really are. You are so gifted with a God given talent. Thank you for sharing it with us.

That was pretty much my reaction, other than lots and lots of squeeing. He was amazing. Obviously showing off his acting abilities, just a little bit<3<3<3<3
Jackson was amazing! He really portrayed that he can act. I was excited to see him on Criminal Minds because I already love the show. It was great to see him do more than just stare, like in Twilight. And when the camera showed him as Amanda I just burst out laughing! He makes a great girl too: what a versatile actor.
I had never seen Jackson act before Twilight, and though he did a good job, I didn’t really care too about his performance. This was probably because he didn’t too much to work with. However, from what I saw of him in interviews, I started to become a fan, because he just has such a great personality. I had never watched Criminal Minds before (because I’m terrified of serial killers) but Jackson really just blew me away with his performance. He is an incredible actor. I hope he’s given more to work with in both New Moon and Eclipse!
Ok so I kinda had it figured out in the first five minutes which sucks. But Jasckson’s acting was superb. Jasper was my favorite character in the series and now I really look forward to seeing Jackson in Eclipse.

I agree. I’ve never watched this show before but I wanted to see how Jackson was outside of Twilight, it’s my first thing (I saw him do the Disney 411 but I don’t count that) that I’ve seen him in.
He was absolutely amazing. He did a wonderful job showing that disorder and showing the two very different personalities. It wasn’t just in the voice, but his whole body language changed. I enjoyed watching him because he was amazing and did a wonderful job.
I had never seen criminal minds before, watched it for jackson, I was VERY impressed. I have seen everything Jackson has done, You could see how far he has come as an actor in growth in this episode. you could tell he gave his “all” in projecting Adam and Amanda. I am very excited to see all his new work in the making now,I hope that he is given the shot he deserves as an actor to show all that he can do. Excellent Job Jackson!!
I’ve seen several episodes of Criminal Minds and I have to say this one was pretty good. Jackson did a great job playing Adam/Amanda. He’s extremely talented and I can’t wait to see him expand his role in New Moon!
I didn’t see the episode but one of my friends saw him in it and she was impressed…. I am sure he did a great job… I am sure we will see more of Jasper come out in the next movies,especially eclipse.. I am re-reading the saga and I wish that they showed more of how Jasper is with Bella in Twilight than they did in the movie..
I love Criminal Minds anyway, but Jackson made that one of my favorite episodes of this season. His mannerisms, body language, etc. seemed soooo well thought out…I think he should play a drag queen someday.

Seriously amazing acting, though.
Tip: Any Jackson fans, go rent ‘Pray for Morning’. It’s a *awful* nineties teen horror flick, but J. Rath is in it, and his character is so lovable. You will be splitting your sides at the cheesy special effects and lame plot, with the added bonus of seeing Jackson, who manages to outshine the main characters even in a minor role.
criminal minds is one of my favorite shows so naturally i was excastic to see jackson on it
when i watched the episode i was so in shock! he is so versatile and simply amazing! is ability to play so an intense,deep character is fantastic
ahahahhaha. i saw the episode. first time watching the show. not too bad. but jackson.. i texted my friend to watch it and we kept discussing it throughout the show. he makes a very convincing woman
he has the creepiest smirk, though. he like stares into your eyes and smirks. it gave me the creeps.
my favorite part was when he was ‘amanda’
he was a man but he sounded like an old lady with a southern accent. it was creepy yet hilarious.
