Kellan Lutz seems to be channeling Kristen Stewart on his answer to Breaking dawn in 3-D.

A new trailer for horror movie franchise Nightmare on Elm Street featuring Kellan Lutz is up on MySpace. Word is that Kellan has a small but fun part. The movie opens on April 30th. You can visit their main website for a different trailer.

So Taylor Lautner has Valentine’s Day, now Kellan Lutz has his own holiday. He is slated to star in A Misfits Christmas with Ashley Tisdale and Brittany Snow rounding out the headliners.

According to Moviehole (Ashley Hillard on their staff is a producer and they got the scoop):

“[Misfits’] an escalating drama about eight friends who spend consecutive Christmas Eve’s together during their four years of college”, explains writer/director Tabb. ”As we drop in on them annually, we watch the characters lose their innocence and form a dysfunctional family with interwoven relationships.

”Though their majors vary, what they have in common is a sense of humor, charisma, attractiveness, and nothing else better to do than spend Christmas with one another”, Tabb says of his characters. ”These character arcs take place over four years, highlighted at their annual Christmas soirees at [Lutz’s character] Scott’s epic, rockin’ pad – his parents’ property investment that they are letting him live in while at college.”

If there is one thing we have gained and appreciation of over the past two years is Kellan Lutz’s sense of humor. He  just has this deadpan meets the ridiculous thing down. The spontaneous answers he gives are hilarious. In fact he’s taken messing with the paparazzi and the tabloids to a whole new level.

So during NYC’s Fashion Week Glamour magazine caught up with Kellan who has been taking in the show, and here’s what happened:

“I ran into Twilight‘s Kellan Lutz last night at the William Rast after party (okay, the truth is I stared him down from across the room until I had enough champagne in me to finally make my approach!), and asked him, “What should a girl wear on a first date that would just totally wow you?” His answer was adorable, funny, and shockingly on-trend for fall 2010. “Socks.” He didn’t even blink. “Socks?” I asked.”What do you mean, like, um, just socks?”

According to Dog Inspired, Kellan took in a stray he found wandering his neighborhood. Kellan’s made no secret that he’s an animal lover and frequently takes his first dog, Kola, out to the park. Well, now Kola has a playmate besides Kellan.

“A lucky stray Chihuahua is now snuggling up to Twilight star, Kellan Lutz. For dog lovers and vampire fans, Lutz is a looking like a pup hero to us! He found the Chihuahua wandering in his neighborhood with another canine. Having a soft spot for dogs, Lutz took the little furry creature in, only to find out that he had parvo.”
