Edward Meadow Announces: Battle of the Twilight Bands Take Four

It’s that time of year again, when our friends over at Edward’s Meadow host their annual Battle of the Twilight Bands contest. Here’s what they wrote in to tell us about this year’s contest.

For those of you who don’t know, the Battle of the Twilight Bands is a contest we hold every year where Twilight-inspired songwriters can enter their music to compete against other Twilight fans’ songs. Fans can listen to all the songs and vote for their favorite. The top five voted songs will be sent to our board of judges, which will choose the winners!

This year we have a smorgasbord of prizes for the winners, including a Michael Welch autograph, 4 Breaking Dawn movie tickets from Fandango, a free Twilight shirt from Cafe Press, and tons more for the first place winner! A Bella’s bracelet, free copies of the book “The Psychology of Twilight,” and one-of-a-kind Twilight merchandise is also up for grabs! Click here for the full list of prizes.

Vote at the Annual Twilight Battle of the Bands at Edward’s Meadow

The folks over at Edward’s Meadow sent us the following press release:

Hey everyone!

Just a quick update on our Battle of the Twilight Bands, the results are in from the 2 week poll, and we have announced the top 5 song entries, which will be moving on to the final judging round! The songs are…

“The Best Part of Me” by Zenith

“Breaking Dawn (In Our Reach)” by Crystal Newman

“Can’t Touch You” by Jenn Franklin

“Closer” by Jacqui Ryan

“Loser” by Sstaria

Here’s how the judging will work. Each member of the Edward’s Meadow staff will give each of the five songs listed above a rating between 1-10. Then the ratings will be added up. The song with the most points wins 1st place, the song with the second most amount of points wins 2nd place, etc. The winners will be announced on February 3rd.

Battle of the Twilight Bands Three

It’s that time of year again when the Edward’s Meadow website sponsors Battle of the Twilight bands.  This year’s prizes include.

1st place: A phone call from The Twilight Saga: Eclipse cast member and musical artist Boo Boo Stewart (Seth Clearwater)!

2nd place: A signed 4×6 picture of Michael Welch (Mike Newton) AND a free copy of the 2 disc special edition of the Twilight DVD!

3rd place: A free copy of the official Twilight soundtrack AND a free copy of The Bad Mother’s Handbook DVD starring Robert Pattinson (Edward Cullen), a musical artist and star of the Twilight saga films!

On top of these prizes, all three winners will get an online award banner which they can post on their website, facebook, twitter, myspace, etc, their songs posted on every page of our site for 2 weeks (a website that gets around 100,000 viewers per month), their songs posted permanently on our Twilight song list (the #1 Twilight song list on Google), and their song put on a CD which will be sent to Stephenie Meyer!
