At long last Catherine Hardwicke has broken her silence as to what went down in regards to her no longer being involved with future Twilight films. Until today, we’ve only have a brief press statement put out by Summit’s PR department.

“I was devastated,” she says now. “I really did feel a strong connection to the people around the world that liked the movie — and to Stephenie and the actors. But I just didn’t think I could make a good movie under those circumstances.”

Sorry, we were just having a flashback to our childhood and Sesame Street where the count used to laugh as he’d counted. Now we love PBS and the Count as much as the next person, and we’ve also eaten our fill of the equally hokey Count Chocula cereal; however, this is really embarrassing. Justin Chon stopped by the Forks Prom at the Chicago Flashback Weekend to briefly say hi to fans before his formal Q&A the following day. He’s really sweet. He spent a lot of the time high fiving and giving hugs to fans. He was especially sweet to some of the very young fans who gave him a Valentine’s heart.

The video is short and a little choppy because we took out a lot of random shout outs and hugs. One thing is for sure, you can see why Justin describes himself as “the most random person ever, and a complete goofball”.

According to MTV, it looks like the Jonas Brothers have jumped on the “put me on the soundtrack” bandwagon. Although the Brothers haven’t seen the movie, they definitely understand it’s wide appeal. According to Joe Jonas, “For a lot of guys, they want superpowers. He’s a vampire, but he’s pretty strong and stuff.”

It seems like every day we get an email in our inbox suggesting a band. Usually it’s an indie, on the rise kind of group that’s stong on lyrics.  So, who do you think should be on the soundtrack?

My name is Andie Bolt and I’m a HUGE Twilighter!  I actually wanted to get to the premiere so bad that I pitched and idea to Fuel Tv to represent them at the Twilight Premiere in LA and they went for it, I created a character that’s just another version of myself but they finally put it on the internet and I thought you guys might get a kick out of it

Kellan Lutz recently wrapped The Warriors where he and Twilight co-star, Ashley Greene, play high school athletes who are romantically linked. Ashley gives us some Warrior details in an upcoming video that we shot this weekend.  She described Kellan as a big teddy bear. We think these fans would agree.

Twilight Soundtrack songwriter, Bobby Long, is going to release at least two singles before he comes to America to play shows in April. He would like to say a huge thanks to the fans by letting them chose which song they want him to release first. This will be an acoustic track available from iTunes only.

If enough people buy the song Bobby will chart in the US and in the UK. This will bring him to the attention of more fans and record labels – and speed up the delivery of a full album to you all!
