New Moon is holding its position on the New York Times Bestseller List  in the number one position again this week. That makes four weeks total on the list. To read the NY Times web site you have to create a free account there.

KyGirl who is connected with the store hosting the event has shared the following information with us:

ROCKWOOD PAVILLION, CINCINNATI, OHIO UPDATE:

At this point, we no longer have open spots for the pre-booksigning "I Love Edward Cullen" party.

This is just for the PARTY (again, we had to cut it off at a certain point for planning, ordering food, and for space considerations) and not for the booksigning itself. If you want to call, we can definitely add your name to a waiting list in case someone cancels.

The BOOKSIGNING is not in any way impacted by this and the more the merrier! We’ve had up to 4000 people in the store for booksignings, so please don’t worry about space running out for that! I don’t want to cause any confusion.

So, to recap:
Pre-event party = full but we can take names in case anyone cancels.
Booksigning = bring it on! Tons of room and let’s fill the store!

Thanks and we are counting down the days. I can’t believe that it is almost here! I’ve put together almost all of the TWILIGHT and NEW MOON playlists on a cd for us to play that night!

According to Stephenie’s website the signing event at Books, Bytes, and Beyond on Wednesday, 9/27/06 has been cancelled. All other New Jersey events in Bridgewater and Princeton are not affected.

New Moon continues to hold its place on the New York Times Bestseller List.  It debuted at number five. Last week it was number one. This week it continues in the number one slot. This is even more amazing because there are a fair number of people who can’t even buy it until September 6, 2006. Congrats to Stephenie!

Anyone who preordered New Moon on Amazon, and selected the two day shipping option, has gotten confirmations that the book is currently shipping and scheduled to arrive at their homes on Friday, August 11, 2006.

The Lexicon will create a New Moon discussion forum that will be unlocked next week. If you chose to go into that forum, you accept the fact that you will see spoilers. So, don’t go in there when it unlocks if you haven’t finished the book and don’t want to be spoiled. New Moon info will be restricted to that forum only! Nothing will be allowed in other areas (such as the character discussion forums) until the end of August at the earliest. This way, we are giving people a reasonable amount of time to acquire and read the book.

Also, keep a lookout for the book coming to your local bookstore. If you see New Moon in a bookstore please say so on a thread we are creating in the Aston Martin forum. We are trying to track store availability.
