Fandango just let us know the following:

Breaking Dawn Selling Out More Than 1,000 Showtimes

The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn, Part 1 already represents 72% of Fandango’s weekly ticket sales, even though it doesn’t open until next Friday, November 18.

More than 1,000 showtimes are already sold out in advance on Fandango – from Auburn, Alaska to Winchester, Virginia – while theater owners are scrambling to add additional showtimes to meet the fan demand.

According to a Fandango survey of several thousand “Breaking Dawn, Part 1” ticket-buyers, 82% say that the action looks better in “Part 1” than it did in previous “Twilight” films, while 48% plan to see the movie on opening night.

  1. Got my ticket the first night. One more week, I am beyond excited. Enough pictures and sneak peeks, its not working for me anymore.

  2. Ok…so…I wanted to see BD at Cinnebare..a local 21+ movie theater and they sold out 3 weeks ago. They are only showing it on 2 of their 8 screens. In the past they have sold out 5 screens at midnight. I don’t know what is up with them but I have known more people in the last few weeks who said they had planned on going there only to learn it was sold out. I wish they would add more screens. But I’m going to my local AMC for a midnight showing and my 62 year old mother is coming with me.

    And I agree with Ashley…I’m ready for the movie. I’m practically ignoring everything at this point because I want to be surprised by the beauty and the slight story changes…I haven’t even bought the soundtrack yet.
