Personal History: Peter was part of Maria’s army in the vampire wars, one of the few who survived their first three years. However, he met Charlotte in battle and could not make himself destroy her; they ran off together into the north. Eventually, he came back for Jasper, telling him that they’d found a simpler, more peaceful way of life. He was the one who figured out that Jasper’s depression always got worse after he hunted and helped Jasper figure out why (EC13).
