EW: The Robsten Split, Chuckesmee, and the Different Ending of Breaking Dawn 2

Spunk Ransom has stills of the entire Entertainment Weekly article that will hit news stands tomorrow.  Of course the article touches on the drama that has unfolded around the confirmation that Kristen Stewart had an affair with her SWATH director, but it should be noted that this particular interview took place a week before that news store broke.  Still, Kristen is quoted at the end of the article about how it’s difficult for her to be anyone but herself.

“People tell me to go easier on myself and play a character when I go out on carpets and stuff,” Stewart said.  “But you know what?  I’d rather be me.”

There is also some information on how the movie makers were able to age Renesmee through CG after the three foot tall life-like doll christened “Chuckesmee” failed to be anything but creepy.  Director Bill Condon, who said, “it was one of the most grotesque things I’ve ever seen,” promised that no footage of Chuckesmee will appear in the final film but will be available on the DVD.

But the biggest spoiler in the article is the confirmation that the ending of Breaking Dawn Part 2 will in fact stray from the book.  Here is what the article states:

Even devoted readers of the Stephenie Meyer books are in for a pretty big shock in the final third of the film, when the plot strays from the last novel in a sequence dreamed up by Meyer and longtime screenwriter Melissa Rosenberg one night over dinner.  “When I first read the script, I got  to that part and was like, ‘What?‘” Pattinson says.  “And then I had to go back a page.”

  1. I look forward to the change. I’ve read the book many times, but I feel it could have been so much more and glad the movie will bring that out. Don’t forget that SM had her hand in this movie than the other 3, so if she made the change and OK’d any changes, then we should trust her decision.

  2. Well, at least we know that tit won’t be a HUGE change like Bella becoming a werewolf or something. The scriptwriter has already screwed up a lot of very cool scenes from the books so don’t worry. It won’t be worst. And in the first film she kept in the plot so. Breath. We will love Breaking Dawn Part 2

I guess I’m the only one hoping that they don’t leave out the fact that they are always wanting to have sex, lol. Though I’ve grown used to nothing ever following the books I don’t let it ruin the entertainment value on a different take of the movie. Stephenie has to give her sign off on it all so if she’s happy, I’m happy.

  4. Kristen Stewart could look to Tom Hiddleston for a great example. He is a major goof ball and he’s the most “real” and sincere actor out there at the moment with the way he conducts himself be it in an interview or with fans. Feel goofy? Embrace it! Dance, do impersonations, tells stupid jokes, get caught eating, play into the inside jokes, etc. I support her wanting to be herself when she isn’t acting a role in front of a camera. It’s refreshing in a industry where illusion and fantasy is key.
