Bill Condon missed out on going to Comic Con this year because he was in London at the famous Abbey Road Studio recording the score to Breaking Dawn 2 with Carter Burwell. The trip was a huge success. The Team Jack Twitter just released the following info about Bill Condon’s time there.
Just got off the phone with Bill. He and Carter finished scoring at Abbey Road Studios today and Carter has rocked the score AGAIN: his third TWILIGHT score for those counting, fourth score for Bill. Bill is in love with it. They had 70 musicians playing away on Sunday. MyAnna (Buring, who plays Tanya) has also been hanging out, so that’s been fun.

Love Carter Burnwell! Cannot wait !
I absolutely love Carter Burwell’s music and look forward to this score as well!
Yay!!!!! Can’t wait to hear it!!!!! : )
Looking forward to it.
Thanks Carter Burwell, for all that you’ve done! You are my FAVORITE composer.
My favorite aspect of the Twilight movies are the brilliant scroes; my favorite being “New Moon”. Even when a story is so-so, if the score is amazing, I will enjoy the film much more. Being a frequent business travel for Dish, I saw Breaking Dawn after it had left theaters. Honestly, I really hope that Breeaking Dawn 2 has a little more depth then it’s predecessor as I was the least impressed with pretty much all of the film. I loved “New Moon” from scroe to direction and it would have been great if they had brought Chis Weiz back to collaborat. Regardless before I see a new installement in a film, it’s tradition for me to catch up on all the previous films to prepare. Love Carter Burwell’s score…and I’m so glad he was the one to bring the saga full circle, bringing back the magic of the first film and infusing it into the last two films. Genius.
