In high school, he enrolled in a Michigan arts academy to focus on acting. While there, he met a couple of guys who are still part of his band, 100 Monkeys. His new movie, Girlfriend, is the story of a man with Down syndrome who has a tangled love affair with a single mother. Jackson, who also produced the movie, plays a troubled ex-boyfriend.”
