For $10,000 a New Moon Script Could Be Yours

caseyray-150x150Remember Casey Ray, the hairdresser who went dumpster diving at a St. Louis hotel and found a New Moon and a Remember Me script?  Well, she’s back. Only this time she’s not suing Summit (which she later dropped)or complaining about getting into the premiere costing her oodles of money. This time she is selling the New Moon script that she found that was autographed by the entire cast, her invitation to the New Moon after party, and her ticket to the New Moon premiere.

Question: So what is the minimum starting price for all of this loot that is slated to go up on EBay?

Answer: $10,000 according to the St. Louis Business Journal (who have been following Casey Ray’s story all along.)

Just recently a group auctioning a Robert Pattinson signed guitar couldn’t get the $5,000 minimum asking price for it and the guitar alone was worth half that.

So, the question is $10,000 for a script signed by the entire New Moon cast, and a couple of add ons (granted unique). Do you think she’ll get her asking price and more, or will it go bust?

TY to RobPattzNews for bring the story to our attention.

  1. I’m sure someone will buy just because of what it is. It’s sad that all she’s doing is milking money out this.

    • She won her suit with summitt after they tried to bully their was out of the legal contract. and now she’s donating part of the sale of the script to Childrens Hospital! I think she’s awesome for her donation and standing up to Summit!

  2. I think she’s an idiot.

  3. Doubt it. You never know, but I doubt it.

  4. anonymous says:

bust. I’ll be shocked if someone takes it.

  5. NO, besides, will she really give the real thing up? She has been proved to be a crazy.

  6. Some UBER fan may take the bait and buy it, but it really dissapoints me that she is doing this, it’s almost like extortion!!!!! I think someone should be sueing her! Isn’t it illegal to go throw trash or something??? I have one word….KARMA

  7. and PS, 1987 called they want their promdress and updo back. ( YES I took it there)

    • BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

    • Gina L. says:

Lisa, LMAO! I glad you took it there. That is too funny and very true! Wouldn’t want her giving me fashion advice.

    • Gina L. says:

She’s an ass! Ok, I don’t know about you people, but I would have dumpster dived for that, but I would have kept it(being the crazy Twilight fan I am) and not try to scam Summit and anybody else I could with it. She got her walk on the red carpet(and who the hell is she), and the after party, so be happy with that. Summit didn’t even have to give her that. And did she really think they would give her a free plane ticket for digging in the trash, on top of everything else. If she was so worried about the money to get to the premier, she should have not gone in the first place. Now, she’s trying to sucker some fan just to make money. Greed is an ugly thing and she wasn’t looking that good before all this stuff went down. I’m just sayin’

      • you look like the ASS when you talk and dont know the whole story!!!! She is donating a big portion to Childrens Hospital because of her sick cousin who needs a liver transplant!!! Come on people!!

    • Gina L. says:

My question is, how did she know the script was even in the trash? Who was she stalking? She most have been doing something weird if she knew it was going into the big dumpster bin out back of the salon. She was sceaming even before she got her grubby little hands on the script.

  8. Marla Jones says:

stupid stupid lady. If that was mine,it would be in a glass case surrouned by guards 24/7.

    • Jennifer says:

I agree. It’s a shame a real fan – someone who could appreciate it for what it is – couldn’t have found it instead of her.

  9. Sad. I think Summit was just trying to be nice, which is not something I would have expected from a Hollywood studio. I wonder if they wishe they’d just sent her a legal threat to hand over the script and left it at that.

  10. christie says:

No I don’t think she will get close to asking price. She seems a little crazy

  11. I thought her 5 mins of fame were up…well..it should be! Someone should tell this woman to move on and get a life…no ones paying 10,000 for a script.

  12. How sleazy can you get?

  13. We all need money in desperate times! As much as I would love to have it and keep it forever, I would be selling it right about now to take care of my family…..this economy…..

    • Yeah I agree with Yas. Like I commented below, I’d have to be in a really dire situation to sell it…like losing my house or because one of my kids were sick or something. But if not for anything along those lines, I’d hold on to it forever.

      • How about losing a family member, cause thats what she is tying to help here!!! Shes not crazy but trying to be a saint!!!

    • But saying that she’s selling it because it’s desperate times and she may need the money kind of implies that she is somehow reluctant to sell items that are treasured by her.

Like someone else said, she must have been stalking someone’s every move to know it was in there.

      That is seriously twisted.

  14. Desperate much.

While I’d love to have a script signed by the entire NM cast, I have better things to spend $10,000 on, like college tuition, rent and my phone bill.

  15. Bust.

  16. Stephane says:

BUST! Pathetic…even if it bid UP to that price, no one is going to start at that price. And of all the signed scripts I’ve seen on eBay (Harry Potter, etc), none have come even close to that if I remember right.

  17. What a tool! What an even bigger tool to someone who actually will spend that much on it! But, you never know, I guess.

This lady needs to just stop trying to get money from everyone/everything. Be happy w/what you got, you nasty, garbage/dumpster diving, crazy [expletive]!

    • PS – if there is a buyer, s/he will probably get a photocopied script instead of her original signed one since she sounds like such a scammer…

    • It’s not really that bad a thing for her to do – once she found it she could have released it on the internet and Summit would have lost money – she went to give it back like a decent human being.
She is a grown woman, she works as a waitress (?), I’m sure $10000 has much more worth to her.
Frankly it’s the most logical thing. If I had a new moon script etc in my possession at the moment, even being the big Twilight fan I am, I would probably attempt to sell it. Y? That much money could be used for many more important things than the sentimentality of a script… there’s only a very few priveleged people who can afford to have such valuable possessions for no sustainable reason…

      • I think it shows how screwed up the world is if this women can be called “good” just because she didn’t try to sabotage a multi-million dollar production. Of course she didn’t release it on to the internet. She would have been sued for projected losses of about $500 million and the Twilight community would have lynched her.

She may be a waitress but it’s not like the script was left at the table she was cleaning. She stalked someone and climbed into a dumpster. She didn’t accidentally find it!

A person’s goodness is meant to be judged by what they DO, not by all the bad things they DON’T do.

        • I never said she was “Good” just that she was probably being “reasonable”. There are worse things she could have done. Now she gets money, that she obviously needs, and someone else, who is a fan and doesn’t need money, can properly appreciate her prize.

          • You’re right. You didn’t say she was “Good”. You said she was behaving “like a decent human being”.

    • No your the tool!!!! She is donating part of this sale to help Childrens Hospital and her dying cousin! You people who rip on her need to get your facts straight!!!!

  18. What a class act.

  19. leanne23 says:

I dont know about this…Part of me is like she may NEED MONEY for living. You know the economy is STILL BAD especially in some areas. SOME PEOPLE GET DESPERATE. The other part of me says She is nuts and a user. WE DONT KNOW THE WHOLE STORY.

  20. Well it’s confirmed! All she wanted WAS $$! In my heart of hearts, if I found that script, signed or not, perks or not, I’d keep it. It’s truly a treasure! The only way I’d sell it was because I was losing my house or something really, really dire.

Again, it just goes to prove that all the drama she made in the previous months was all about the benjamins…period!

  21. She needs to get a life and no if a guitar signed by rob that actually works wont get 5,000 what makes her think shes going to get 10,000 for a script… sorry lady but NO

  22. I just checked out the auction for this script on eBay. There are other New Moon scripts on there of which I fully read the description of one of them stating that it was an original “Shooting Screenplay, Opening Draft” script signed by Rob, Kristen, Nikki, Ashley, Taylor, Jackson, Chaske, Justin, Elizabeth & Gil. Anyhoo, the script that Casey Ray is auctioning off says that “a percentage of the final sale will be donated to the St. Louis Children’s Hospital” but it doesn’t specify the exact percentage.

  23. I think she’s smoking some serious crack. That or she needs to open a window when she colors hair.

  24. TeamSwitz4life says:

    i don’t like her….

  25. Martina says:

    I agree with Pamela;
    http://global.ebay.com/TWILIGHT_NEW_MOON_original_SIGNED_script_10_R_Pattinson/280489454736/item

A ‘New Moon’ script, signed by a lot of the cast members (Robert, Kristen, Taylor, ect.). And for only 37£ (aprox. 56$).

  26. I don’t think anyone should buy it (especially at that price) on principle alone.
She is counting on a bunch of ravenous fans willing to do anything. We may be a bunch of crazy fans…but we’re not stupid.

  27. Even if I DID have that much money to bid on it, the real question is could I trust her to follow through with the transaction?? I’ve been burned with just a $100 ebay deal before, and that was with someone who had a good rating!!

This girl doesn’t have the credibility to enter into an agreement on eBay.I wouldn’t trust her any farther than I could throw her.

    Bidders and buyers beware!

    • Especially if the bid doesn’t come in as high as she wants. I just wouldn’t trust her to follow through. Or you might get a photocopy, like someone above said.

  28. Almost every twilight fan knows how greedy she is and what she did to summit… Don’t think she will sell it, not for that price anyway!… but like so many said; you never know!

  29. Just a thought….
She has a ticket to go to the NM afterparty:
with everything that she has put Summit through, do you think ANYONE would talk to her at the party…?
    I wouldn’t.

  30. Heather Baker says:

What a whiner! I would be so excited to pay for plane tickets and a hotel room to that what she was offered. A once in a lifetime vacation.

Didn’t the New Moon premire already occur? Are they meaning Eclipse???

  31. Hmm, I still scratching my head ’bout of all this ridiculous situation…Is she able to get some sleep @ night? Awww hell!!!! what some ppl are capable to do to only get more than 5 min of fame… just risible!!!!

  32. money, money, money, she wants money..

  33. mykaela says:

ok, no offense to all the SMART blondes out there, but THAT WOMAN IS A VERY, VERY, DUMB BLONDE.
and now i am going to make up a dumb blonde joke…
how do you get a blonde arrested? stick a twilight script in her hair salon!
