If there is one thing we have gained and appreciation of over the past two years is Kellan Lutz’s sense of humor. He just has this deadpan meets the ridiculous thing down. The spontaneous answers he gives are hilarious. In fact he’s taken messing with the paparazzi and the tabloids to a whole new level.
So during NYC’s Fashion Week Glamour magazine caught up with Kellan who has been taking in the show, and here’s what happened:
“I ran into Twilight‘s Kellan Lutz last night at the William Rast after party (okay, the truth is I stared him down from across the room until I had enough champagne in me to finally make my approach!), and asked him, “What should a girl wear on a first date that would just totally wow you?” His answer was adorable, funny, and shockingly on-trend for fall 2010. “Socks.” He didn’t even blink. “Socks?” I asked.”What do you mean, like, um, just socks?”

That was a great answer! And I wouldn’t be surprised if he was 100% serious. Guys like that little surprise element of getting to know someone and it does show a lighter side to the girl.
Has any one checked the bunny socks sales? I bet that every store across the country will have at least a pair to sell by tomorrow! LOL

BWAHAHAHAHAHAH!!! Good thing I happen to have 2 pair of bunny socks AND some rocking thigh high boots!!! Seriously, though. Who can tell with that man. His answer makes total sense, but it’s Kellan. I mean, the only person who’s answers to the media you take less seriously are Rob’s. Either way, great for a morning laugh.
That was a seriously sexy explanation of why he said socks. You gotto love his style!
On another note, I can just imagine that any time he makes a public appearance, a flock of girls will be there with thigh-high boots & cute whimsical socks underneath!

I have never met the guy (swoon) so I can’t really say if he was joking or not. However, I will point out that he would never know what kind of socks a girl was wearing on a first date, unless he was planning an activity that involved taking one’s shoes off later… I’ll leave that up to interpretation. On a side note, my socks today are white with rainbow pinstripes. I hope that counts.
I think he WAS serious because his cute smile and all. That is the most sweetest answer ever! He’s just so cute.
