Jury Duty Photo Causes Issue

Two security guards in the LA County Court are in hot water over photos they had taken with Kristen Stewart when she was there recently reporting for jury duty.
[Kristen] appeared in Los Angeles Superior Court earlier this week to serve jury duty. Apparently, one of the security guards was a Twi-hard and asked K.Stew to pose for a quick camera-phone photo. Obviously, she was in the giving mood, she obliged.
However, it appears that perhaps K.Stew shouldn’t have been so generous. The guard’s pal (who was also there) then allowed his wife to post the picture on the Internet…and now the two men could lose their jobs because of it.”
It seem that there is a rule regarding anonymity in the jury pool that was violated. This all came to light when the photos appeared on the blog of one of the security guard’s wives and from there the photos went viral.

LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That anonymity thing is exactly what I was thinking when I first saw that pic.
I was thinking the same thing. Taking the pic is fine, but not posting it.
I wish people could give Kristen and Rob some respect and privacy. If I was so lucky to see her in public, and get a picture with her or Rob (she is obviously a gracious person), I would not be posting it on my blog where it would be stolen and posted all over the internet.
Wow.. that’s not good. Poor guys.. but they should have done better. I mean, c’mon, yeah, Kristen agreed.. but they should know what they can and cannot do.
I feel for them. Ug what were they thinking? Oh well it’ll probably blow over soon enough. They keep thinking that there like other celebs that would go psycho and demand someone pay. They aren’t like that. If they don’t care why should you.
It’s not up to her to say no. They never should have asked. Certainly this is not the first celebrity to be called to serve jury duty in LA. They should have known better. It’s unfortunate, but they knew what the risks were – they violated the privacy and confidentiality of a jury member (celebrity or not, it doesn’t matter) by just taking the photo (the posting only makes it worse). So – if they get fired, they get fired.
People are so dumb. I TOTALLY understand being excited and wanting to snap a pic of a celeb. Hell, that’s what they sign on for. And I can understand wanting to post it on your blog to share your excitement. But for christ’s sake, don’t say where it’s from if it’s something like jury duty! Idiots.
I mean… they could still post it and say… hey look I met Kristin! Wow! But not say where. Duh.
really? if the attorney was going for anonymity, Kristen Stewart should probably have been ruled out from the start!
but yeah, those poor guys – shafted by their own WIVES!!!
I’m not an American so I’m sort of curious how you get picked for jury duties.
P.S.
these wives are the downfall of the husbands
omg it never occured to me that celebs have jury duty. o.O
@Cathryn –
Usually it’s listed registered voters and you’re name is randomly chosen by a computer.
Did anyone else notice she is wearing Rob’s shirt? I guess I’ve been proven wrong about “Robsten”.
Are u sure that’s his shirt????
