I just got word that the Twilight star has signed on for Friday’s Hope for Haiti telethon. As of right now, it looks like Rob will be the sole presenter in London with performances by Jay-Z and Bono.”

presenter means host, ie, the person who will be ‘hosting’ the evening

Way to step up, Rob! I suspect you don’t like to be front and center of an audience or interview, so doing this means even more.
I hope we all follow his example and do what we can–whether donating money, giving blood or donating supplies, etc.

I think it’s on all the major networks, including
MTV, Vh1, Fox, ABC, NBC, CBS, CW, BET and CNN. There was an article in the Post today saying all the details aren’t set yet. It will be great to see Rob! And luckily for him these things aren’t usually typed in front of a live audience.
