On behalf of the entire staff of the Twilight Lexicon, we wish all our readers Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!
Three years ago before everyone knew about Twilight, because it had only been on bookshelves about three months, Stephenie Meyer wrote an article for Ensign Magazine about the spirit of Christmas. It has become the Lexicon’s traditional Christmas post.

Wow–I remember reading that story in the Ensign. At the time, I had no idea who Stepehenie was. That is really neat to re-read it now and know it was her that wrote the story.

I am a twilight “grandma” who is in awe of Stephenie Meyer’s talent. This Christmas story is another example of why she has so many loyal readers. Stephenie , you are a remarkable lady. Thanks for showing us more evidence of the true meaning of the season. Merry Christmas!
i also remember reading that particular story in the ensign years ago. how interesting that it was written by stephanie meyer. i love her honesty in being able to admit that she made the wrong choice in that situation. but sometimes we learn more from our wrong choices and are more sensitive to making the right ones in the future. i hope i can remember that example when i am in a similar situation in the future. thanks stephanie and the ensign.
