you’re right. i’d rather donate a hella large amount of money to the memorial for that opportunity, as i am not creative.
I have some artistic abilities, and I’m gonna try to enter the contest. I’m sure there are a lot of artists out there somewhere who are a lot better than I am. I get so intimidated that I’m kind of afraid to enter the contest.
Please enter the contest. You never know what can happen. Just put your heart into it and I promise you will do good

A big part of the contest is the song and how it inspired the artwork. Not all of the judging is based on artistic ability. The judges have a criteria they will be using to evaluate pieces so don’t worry about artistic ability. People are submitting collages and art consisting mostly of written words so the limits are not set at just “art” as typically considered.
