ON FRIDAY, AUGUST 14
The next film in the series is not out until November 20, but a brand new, full length theatrical trailer from THE TWILIGHT SAGA: NEW MOON, will debut this Friday, exclusively with the Summit Entertainment August 14 release, BANDSLAM.
For fans who simply can’t wait for Friday, a 10 second tease of the new trailer will be airing nationwide, starting Wednesday, August 12th.

Hmm I might go on the 12th to find out. It’s 2 for the price of 1 on a wednesday so if I get a friend to come I’ll only be paying half price to see it
well im doing exactly what summit wants. im seeing bandslam just to see the new moon trailor. seeing rob and taylor on the BIG SCREEN is so worth seeing Bandslam. i probably would have ended up seeing bandslam eventually anyway. whatever. IM STOKED!

im not gunna watch BANDSLAM just becuz there is gunna b a NEW MOON TRAILER. the movie looks WACK n summit is just advertising NEW MOON w/ the movie becuz dats the only reason ppl would watch it. im not giving SUMMIT the SATISFACTION of watchinq dat stupid move just seeinq TWILIGHT films…STILL PISSED AT SUMMIT FOR THE RACHELLE THING.
i am way more excited for this trailer than any normal person should be. i’m going to buy a ticket to this terrible movie just to see this preview, and probably walk out after the trailer is done.

Summit is crap, they don’t care about Twilight fans. They treat us like idiots, they don’t listen to our opinions.
The way they talked down to us when they heard about the online petitions for Rachelle disgusted me.
I can wait for the full trailer to come out on youtube the morning AFTER Bandslam comes out. Summit isn’t getting one more penny from me.
I WILL be sneaking in to see New Moon, or paying with Monopoly cash. The ticket booth workers aren’t too bright anyway!

Some How I think summit knew that no one would see bandslam so they just added the new moon thing.
While I don’t agree with Summit’s decision to lure Twilight fans to see “Band Slam” for the new Twilight trailer, I think they could have also included the trailer before a movie that adults would want to see.
It would make sense to target not only the perceived audience for Band Slam, but also an older female audience, since it’s pretty clear that women 20+ make up a big portion of Twilight’s fan base. They could have included the trailer with The Time Traveler’s Wife for instance (or a similar film).
Why not have the trailer before two movies with different audiences? I believe they’d make their advertising money through both.
While I REALLY want to see the New Moon trailer, I will probably wait to see it via Youtube, or once it officially launches via their website. It is sort of sad that Summit is touting “New Moon” trailer over their actual movie release. I’m sure the cast of Bandslam is probably very pleased to see that Summit is more excited about luring people to watch their movie via a 1:30 to 2 min trailer over the actual quality of the movie. I do hope Bandslam is good though. I enjoyed both Penalope as well as The Knowing (helps as my agent did part of the casting for the film), I thought Push was horrible though… Story was all over the place and totally nowhere.
It is a sad day when a movie will make millions of dallars because of a movie trailer, rather than because people are actually excited to go see the movie.
I’ve been to a few movies where the trailers were actually better than the movie I saw… ergo, Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen… blah… poor Bandslam cast… I hope their movie rocks for real!

Haha, I am not interested into seeing Bandslam, but the only reason that I am going to see it is because of the trailer in the beginning of it. I remember that last year I went to go see Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants and in the beginning was the Twilight Teaser Trailer and I was like hyperventilating and saying, “Oh my God,” over and over again, and people around me were saying nothing. I was like, “Oh my God! This is Twilight people.” Haha. I am going to do the same thing and I might record it so I can watch it over and over again. But about Wednesday, where will we be able to see it. Like on the internet. Someone better find out! Summit telling lack of information is pissing me off! Well, I can’t wait :]
I saw the New Moon Trailer (the teaser) before the Transformers movie…
NO,NO,NO, I can and will hold out for November 20th.
It’s my mantra I must keep repeating until New Moon is out in theatres.
I have resisted ALL other spoiler images,the exception being the preview shown at the MTV Movie Awards,and I can do it. The Twilight Saga is my own personal brand of heroin and I can wait for my official hit -it’s gonna be so worth the wait.
I really really want to watch it, but I don’t want to give away my money to Summit. I don’t if I’ll be able to resist. It would be so great to watch it on the big screen…… I don’t know what to do.
I heard a rumor that the NM trailer wasn’t even going to be shown before Bandslam… that it was going to be shown AFTER Bandslam so that people don’t sneak in and then leave after previews. Is this true?
Also, I’d like to add my name to the list of people who think Summit is a sleaze-bucket company. No one wants to see “Bandslam” but they, for some reason, gave it a wide release so they’re using cheap tactics to sell tickets. Disgusting.

There’s no possible reason to see a sucky movie just for a trailer that will most likely be available online or tv in probably a mmonth.
ON AUGUST THE 14TH A COUPLE OF HOURS AFTER THE FIRST BAND SLAM IS WATCHED AT THE CINEMA I CAN GURANTEE THAT SOMEONE WILL POST THE TRAILER ON INTERNET VIA YOUTUBE! SAVE YOUR MONEY GUYS!
Also keep a eye on youtube in the week running up to bandslams release as someone might leak it earlier!

I bet that eventually they will release the trailer to other movies besides Bandslam. I do know that I am sick of people trying to lure us to their products by using Twilight. Makeup, a “sneak preview”, even the Backstreet Boys new video has a vampire theme. I will not be spending my money on Bandslam, I would much rather see the Time Traveler’s Wife.
damm I thought I was the only one that thought that Summit only wanted a big paycheck from a movie that doesn’t look good at all… I’m glad more people are willing to boycot it…All we really need is one brave soul to go watch the movie and take their Flip, record the trailer and upload it to youtube…hey Apple trailers will probably have it next week…I also agree about targeting more people…Since New Moon is supposed to have more action why not add it in front of GI Joe, it made almost $55 mil this weekend…that would’ve been a good way to appeal to a broader audience…

I went to see the movie Julie & Julia this weekend and the very first preview/trailer that was shown was the New Moon trailer! Now this was the one shown at the MTV Movie awards NOT the new one…but it was still cool (and quite the surprise!) to see it on the big screen!
Another website (horrormovies.ca) is saying that the 14 second preview of the trailer is going to be on ET.
It is 9:05 and I have not watched it yet. Where is it!!!! I am starting to panic an hyperventilate. Please trailer, show yourself!!!!!! I woke up at 8:30 for this and it isn’t even out!!!
