Stephenie Meyer has always said just how much she likes comic book superheroes like the X-men. Well, now she gets to be a bit of a comic book hero herself.
“Bluewater Productions, which has been churning out one political biography after another, is now turning its attention to Twilight author Stephenie Meyer.
The comic will be released in October under the company’s “Female Force” banner, which has been home to biographies on such public figures as Hillary Clinton, Michelle Obama, Sarah Palin and Princess Diana.
“We chose Stephenie Meyer to be one of the subjects for Female Force because her voice is one for a new generation,” Bluewater Publisher Darren G. Davis tells Diamond’s PreviewsWorld. “Now people will find out the history of how she created this series, as well as her life story.”

so, so wonderful!
Oooh…I am SOOOO buying this! I LOVE YOU STEPHENIE!
While we’re on the topic of Stephenie, has anyone else noticed how much less we’re seeing her this time around with the movie? It seemed like she was very much involved in the first one, but we don’t hear anything about here in relation to New Moon. Kinda makes me sad!
Was it her choice? Is it because of the new director?
I don’t think she’s any less involved–I know from various interviews I’ve read she collaborated even more with Melissa on the screenplay for NM and she was on the set when that slew of interviews from the five or so media outlets got to go on set. I’m sorry I can’t remember the details but one of the interviews mentioned it was her first or second time on set.
In general it seems she’s taking the less-publicized route–not that she ever really looked for publicity before!
She was definitely involved as various media outlets confirm this as does Chris himself. She was present at the very least at the high school set and the Volturi set because she was spotted there by the press.
Other sets were very closed and vans with dark tinted windows brought people on site.
I have been asking this for months now! She was spotted on the set ONE DAY or one set of days when they invited several media outlets on the set at the same time.
That’s all I’ve heard of and I’ve been waiting for any word at all. Just dribs and drabs but nothing about what she’s writing, what her next project is or if she’s just taking a break!
Stephenie-you are family-write home!
AWE awesome guys my friend Vinnie Tartamella did this picture of her. He has been doing a great job with their coverart. This has to be one of my favorites tho lol maybe I am just bias =P

Wow, that’s a great trace!

I could never trace that good! Whoever traced that must be a real deviantART celebrity! Also, I love the word “trace”!
Trace trace trace trace trace trace trace tracey trace trace!
Furthermore, yeah, Steph is definitely a better and more deserving woman to get a biocomic than, say…
-Amelia Earhart
-Martha Washington
-J.K. Rowling
-Susan B. Anthony
-Jane Austen
-Marie Curie
-Rosa Parks
-Sojourner Truth
I could go on, but it wouldn’t matter, Stephenie Meyer beats ALL of them and ALL of their achievements, because she wrote the best novel in the history of the whole world, TWILIGHT YAYAYAYAYAYYAYAYAYAYAAAAAAY!!!!!!!!!!!
A~
Your sarcasm is noted.
This isn’t sarcasm, it’s hate mongering. Go away, little boy.
He is correct though, that is a trace, which kinda shows the magazine is too lazy to actually attempt at drawing her. :/
A~, No need to start an argument, but, In my honest opinion, I think you’re going a bit (actually too much of a step) far. Those women you have noted have contibuted a heck of alot more to society and history than Stephenie, who is just a writer, nothing more. You can say that she’s a good writer, that’s your opinion, yada yada, but really, she has done little for the World. All she has done is write a book. The Twilight Series is nothing but a but a fantasy series, like Harry Potter. It is not meant to be groundbreaking, or a historical contribution to Society. Please, get over it, and I’m sure there are tons of books out there that are a better read than Twilight. Read some other books. And come on, you think Stephenie Meyer than Martha Washington? For god’s sake, STEPHENIE IS JUST A WRITER! Martha Washington was the FIRST LADY OF the UNITED STATES! She was the wife of GEORGE WASHINGTON! How in your mind could Steph be a better person than Martha? And Marie Curie, she contributed a lot to SCIENCE! Twilight is NOT the best book in history. Please.
@Nosferatu
It was sarcasm.
@BloodSuckingLeech
Pointing out a trace and listing more deserving women is hate-mongering? You’re hilarious.
A~
A`, I actually thought you were serious. 0_0
I don’t think people would actually be that crazy to say that anyway. My apologies.
Love you-Love you-Love you Steph! The drawing is awesome, how fun is that?!!! I wish they would have just let Steph do the scripts, I bet they would have been perfect.
Wow, that looks really awesome! Love that drawing! Definitely getting this.
what?!?! no way smyer can even come close to princess diana, all smyer did was write some crappy books diana actually did charity work in 3rd world countries THIS IS CRAP!!!
WOW, I really want to applaud whoever drew that. They really nailed her features perfectly! I wonder what she thinks of it.
I’M BUYING IT ! This whole craziness would NOT EXIST IF NOT FOR HER.
and honestly I’m in this fandom because of the BOOKS !!!!
THIS IS MY FAVORITE AUTHOR AND IT’S GREAT THAT she get’s some recognition instead of the cast.
Great, The Talentless Hack, Stephanie Meyer is going to be in a comic. What’s next, a castle built to her. I’m probably going to get a lot of fangirls flaming me for this. oh well.
