Lana Veenker is running a series of contests to give away posters signed by members of the Twilight cast. The first one is a haiku contest. One of the best parts is that you can live anywhere in the world to participate.
“The first contest is designed to test your creative writing abilities:
Send us your best Twilight-inspired Haiku!
If you don’t know what a haiku poem is, read up on the rules here.
Here’s a sample one to get your wheels turning:
Misty forest rain
Branches snapping underfoot
Moonlight frozen fear
Email your haiku to twihard[at]slateplease[dot]com by June 5th, 2009!
Please be sure to include your name, age and where on the planet you live (City, State or Province, and Country are sufficient).
Let’s see how many different countries can participate!!”

Hey!
Wow, that’s so cool!
I have a question though: can everyone only enter one haiku, or can we theoretically send in more than one?
I have the same question.
I’m not really sure, but when I submitted mine, I submitted like, 15 of them. I haven’t gotten in trouble yet….
I’m sorry. I know that was really unhelpful, but at least you know someone else did it too.
Yeah I submitted a couple…but not TOO many just in case you couldn’t.

:Sorry ’bout that.I didn’t check my spelling when I submitted it.
there are several ways to write Haiku. whats the regular way people are doing it? and can we send in more than one?
What’s a ‘cutting-word’?
I don’t understand.
And what have to be in your Haiku?
It has to be 5-7-5, has to include a season-word and also a cutting-word?
Because in the introduction (link) they say a cutting-word isn’t necessary, but is it in this contest?
