TWILIGHT NEWS Twilight News UK caught up with Rob Pattinson on the black carpet (they don’t do red in the UK) and asked him, ‘When you walk into a room now, do you feel out of place now if no one screams at you?’
He laughed and said, ‘It’s really weird. You run a website, can you ask the readers this question? Did people scream while reading the books? I want to know!’
So Rob asked, let him know.
I’m not sure if it’s possible to scream while hyperventilating
. That’s basically what I did in the books. I did kinda growl @ Jacob in Eclipse but I still love him. The third time I saw the movie within the week it came out, my friend kept having to remind me to breathe. I think I was worrying her. If I saw Rob & I was in a big crowd, then yes I’d probably start screaming…if I wasn’t hyperventilating. If I met him in person, I would not but I’d embarrass myself probably.
I screamed when Edward left in New Moon, and again when Bella turned up pregnate in Breaking Dawn, but we scream for Rob because he is so dame cute.
Well, I don’t think it counts as screaming but I did get very exited A LOT during Twilight, and then I kinda yelled at the book in New Moon (both at first, in the middle, and at the end), and I got exited and kinda sighed and all that in Eclipse, and every once in a while I start reading out loud, and talk at the book
Yes, I screamed…but it was at anybody who was interrupting my reading. I had to apologize quite a bit when I finished the books (all 4 in 1 week.) I did forget to breathe a couple of times…and maybe a squeal here and there.
I screamed lol. A lot.
I get very into Twilight, and i frequently have to stop reading and take a moment to calm down and scream, and run around my room and jump and what not cause i don’t seem to be able to act like i’ve read the books multiple times and already know what’s going to happen.
I too, talk to the book and like to read the lines aloud to myself, cause it sounds amazing
I don’t really SCREAM. It’s more of a hyper SQUEAL.
I get far too into my books. I talk to myself 24/7 as it is, but when I relaly get into a book, I have CONVERSATIONS with the characters and EVERYTHING. I repeat funny parts, I “aw!” at the right moments- to me, reading a book is like watching a movie.
So in response to the question, yes, I do scream. And then I get in trouble for it.

Scream? No not really. I just ran around my house squealing everytime something amazing happened. My family was looked at me like I was a freak cuz they had no idea what I was doing:)
Good question Rob! For myself, it depends on the book. During Twilight I was so enthralled and couldn’t put it down that I didn’t scream. During New Moon I cried (lol, we all know why). During Eclipse I screamed out loud and eeked and even jumped for joy! And finally, during Breaking Dawn I was on a roller coaster of crying, oooing, awwwing, screaming, laughing, and every other emotion possible.
I haven’t been fortunate to meet Rob, or be in the same state as he. I live in Utah. But, I imagine that if I did have that chance I would be like every other 14 year old and scream my little heart out. TwiMoms forever!
I can’ say that I screamed while books but I did have a very very big grin in NM when Edward finally realizes that he’s not dead and Bella’s really there with him.
I think the other giddy part for me was when Bella sees Edward looking at her as she’s walking toward him when they get married. Many moments in the book that caused for giddiness on my part.
I didn’t really scream, but I agree with earlier assessments of smiling stupidly throughout whole portions, or crying when necessary.
However, I did squeal like a little girl when I opened up a package from my friend John that was a copy of Twilight signed by Stephenie Meyer, Rob, and Kristen! (Other than when I got my engagment ring, it’s probably as excited as I’ve gotten over a gift!)

not really full on screamed but:
I squealed, cried, hyperventilated, jumped up and down, smiled until my face hurt, and laughed alot.

I didn’t scream exactly but i did hyperventilate, and cry (you can see tear stain on the months pages in NM, and at the end of BD), and laugh, and run around my house a couple times from the excitmentment (Happened a lot in BD). i shouted “WHAT? But she–and he–WHAT??” at certain parts throughout the series. I also shouted out “I DON’T WANT TO READ WHAT JACOB HAS TO SAY!!!!!” when i got to Book 2 in Breaking Dawn. But no, to answer the question i never screamed, though i would have really liked to, but my parents would have killed me for screaming in the house.

Not scream exactly, but I did smile and squel a lot. When Bella Kissed Jacob in Eclipse though, I did get really upset, stormed out of my room and was mumbling and ranting under my breath while pacing around my house. I really scared my brother and cousin that day…
well being a twilight mom, i’m not prone to screaming. i did sigh and smile very silly and had re-read the books more times than i can count!
and if i saw robert i would certain re-frain from screaming……i can’t say the same for my 22-college student daughter though
Yes, in the middle of class. When Carlisle’s car appears on Bella’s street in New Moon. It was really ambarrassing, but uncontrollable. :/
It was more of a squeal, than a scream. But I did scream while I was at the midnight premier!
no screaming, just because my mom would think I have gone mentally insane. I did cry, get angry, get very happy, laugh, oh and once i screamed into my pillow so no one could hear. And when I got the last book, I jumped up and down and giggled. Such a girly thing to do, giggle.

I only screamed on the inside (too dignified to scream out loud). However, I am very emotionally attached to Edward. Rob is a great choice.
Well, I didn’t really scream (like I did in the movie) but i did squeal. Not so much in Twilight but in all the other books I sureeeee did. I also didn’t scream while reading because you know.. Parents… Siblings… You know where I’m coming from… Yep… Love you Robert!

ummm no i really didn’t scream at the books….i didn’t scream at Rob either i wanted to but it scares him and plus i would be too speachless to scream….hmmmm….i wonder what would happen if he met a fan that didn’t scream….i wonder how he would react?
