  1. Meg says:

Well, I was very fortunate to meet him actually. I found out after school that it was going to happen (again) and well i was already at the mall too. So i met him and asked him for a high-five, which he gave. He’s soo coool guys.

  2. Jessica says:

serisouly i was there hella early and then it was cancelled and they were giving out discount coupons and they said that it was absolutly not going to happen but you can still buy the shirt. i didn’t because i didnt want to wait but apperently so people did and got a wristband just because and they event was back on. i heard at 6pm and ran from my dorm at state and all the wrist band people got in and there were seriously less than 30 people waiting outside left without wristbands about 8:40 and they wouldn’t let us even see him! what kind of bullshit is that!!

  3. lalala-notaloser says:

i went to the Seattle one & my mom didn’t le time skip school so I came after school & obviously there were none left:( but my mom didn’t get this sol was stuck only going to the Q&A but l still got some pretty hott piano Taylor <3

  4. lalala-notaloser says:

    *some pretty hott pics

  5. anonymous says:

I agree with Bonnie. The people who tried to get there early obviously had their own interests at heart, and I don’t blame them for that, but it really did a disservice to the people that were going to show up at 7 am and follow directions (i.e. line up at 7 am and get wristbands). I feel bad for everyone involved. I hope the fans can forgive the poor planning and be glad Rob was safe from the hyper fans.

  6. Audrey/Edward says:

I just got back from the Dallas thing, and it was a huge disappointment. People apparently WERE allowed to camp out all night–so some of them did, and so they obviously got the wristbands. But it was very poorly organized, in my opinion.

And I agree with the person earlier who said that they shouldn’t have put how many wristbands there were, because that just made everyone crazier. How long are we going to have to wait until people realize how many of us there really are?

  7. Twilight Fan says:

Thanks for the info. Audrey – that’s so not fair that they didn’t play by their rules. I almost went out to the Galleria then decided against it and now I’m glad that I didn’t go. The instructions from the Galleria said in no uncertain terms – no camping out all night – Galleria property will open at 5:30am.

  8. Cristina says:

at what time should i go to the one in Miami to be able to get a good spot and im not allowd to camp overnight so idk at what time to go

  9. Cristina says:

How do the shirts look like anyway??? I mean $30 for a shirt is pretty expensive. can someone tell me how they look

  10. Emmanuel says:

It’s basically like the cast shirt they first came out with, but excluding Carisle, Esme and the nomads .

The logo on the front is “the Twilight Tour” and on the back of the shirt states the cities where they are stopping at.

  11. Janet says:

Does anybody know where I can see a picture of the shirt? Which posters are they signing?

I’m going to the Miami one and I plan to get there just before 6. I’m not sure that many people are going that early.

Most people at my school are going after 6, closer to 7.

  12. Cristina says:

Im also going to the one in Miami and i think im going to be there at 6, is that good enough? Which poster are they going to sign … i love the first one better than the seconds :] They give you 2 wristbands per shirt or just 1 ?

  13. Janet says:

Yeah, I think it’s good to be there at 6. I’m getting there at 6 also.

Do you know how the posters look like? Where did you see a picture?

And I believe they give you 1 wristband per shirt, but in order to get a 2nd wristband, you have to buy another shirt.

  14. Cristina says:

Nope i havn’t seen the poster but im guessing its the promoting ones.

I really hope i get in

  15. Brooke says:

I just got back from the Dallas signing, and it wasn’t organized at all. They said that you would be kicked out if you were running but they let everyone run. The security was also making it way worse then it would have been. They were trying to move people who had been there for awhile. We got there at 4 and saw people standing outside so we waited in the rain for an hour and a half, and people that showed up really late got in. We had to wait across the street from the mall in the rain, and then try not to be pushed as everyone started to run across to the mall entrance. They also let the people who stayed in the hotel right there go in first which was not very good. They should have waited with the rest of us.

  16. Chad says:

I was there this morning also. I am so upset at how security handled this event. Even with all the people there they had multiple times they could have organized the crowd. I was in back of the crowd not in line, watching everything take place. I saw muliple people get ran-over, one poor girl got stomped all over and her face got all cut up and bloody. People were so crowded into the doors and one girl had a fainting spell. A mom had her purse ripped off of her. It was a complete mess, the mall will be lucky if they don’t get sued! Its sad, all we wanted to do is get a ticket for my niece. Oh police got the situation under control, but no one would listen to them so they had to cancal the event for safety. This is the kind of events were people get hurt or killed by being trampled into doors, its happened at too many concerts. The police did the right thing. If you have a LT, at the scene you have a big problem. My hats off to SFPD. Mall security blew it big time.

  17. Cristina says:

How early should i go to the one in Miami

  18. Lauren says:

SFPD did NOT get this under control. I was there. They tried to get everyone to back the hell off but the people in the FRONT would not move. They were the problem. I will admit I was on this “list” and I didn’t find it as cheating. We got there early just to see what would happen, we weren’t camping out directly in front of the entrance. Security saw us and had no problem with it. The women organizing the list talked to security and they seemed fine with us being there. Anytime something like this happens, you have to expect people to be there early. Plus, different sites were saying different times. One said to be there at 6 Am, another 7 AM. My mom and I went there early because the information was not solid at all. In the end, I didn’t get a wristband because the cops, AND Hot Topic reps told us it was canceled. We stuck around but they kept saying it was canceled. Finally we left and made the 3 hour drive back home only to find out that we were lied to and that the event was still on. I am so disappointed in Hot Topic and I put ALL the blame on them. It was their job to organize, plan, and secure this event. They failed miserably and lied to us in the process. This doesn’t make me love the series any less and I certainly will still see the movie. This event just made me realize that Hot Topic will be getting no business from me again.

  19. Laura says:

For those that met him, how long did you actually have to speak with him? And why was the Q&A not done?

  20. CindyBlack says:

OMG I would be majorly pissed, I’m sorry to all of you that got screwed over. :( uugh that really upsets me and I wasn’t even there. I’m going to the one in Houston with Taylor Lautner so I hope it’s not too crazy. I’m kinda scared to go though.. :/ and then be dissapointed.

  21. clrntjunior07 says:

So much for the Dallas one trying to be organized. i checked the website for the mall several times and it spaceficaly stated that no one would be alowed into the mall until 6 am and at 5:45 all 500 were already sold.

  22. Anika says:

I went to the event in seattle and i was surprised how organized it was! All of the people were on top of it

  23. Laura says:

I think no matter which location it is, people will be there before the stated time. I just hope they have better security than they did in SF and are more organized with an official type of list. I also hope that other Q&A sessions will not be cancelled.

  24. nana says:

can one person really buy 2 wristbands?

  25. Sarah says:

reading all of this makes me scared. i was kinda planning on going to the 1 in Orland Park, Illinois but now i dunno. i think the whole thing is being handled horribly, and Hot Topic is WAY too small to try and hold something like this.

  26. Isa says:

I attended the Seattle event with my wife.
Thank God they had planned, since we have a history of rioting in Washington for anything and nothing in particular. The organization was pretty well done considering it was Hot Topic after all.
Someone in this thread asked what the shirts looked like.
    http://blog.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=blog.view&friendID=3060790&blogID=448236799
I don’t know if the link will come across… But this is the blog my wife wrote about the event here in Seattle. It includes pics of the T-shirts, posters(signed) and various pics and clips from throughout the evening. Including some I got “during” the signing of the three cast members at the event.
My wife and I thought Rachelle was amazing looking, even better than on Boston Legal. =)

I managed to get one decent pic of “Jacob” up close, but he was hard to get a shot of, being constantly mobbed and all.

  27. Lola says:

if ur like a kid and going with parents … do ur parents have to pay for that shirt as well? im not sure if i would want to waste $60

  28. Cheyenne says:

check out http://www.mtv.com/movies/news/articles/1599052/20081110/story.jhtml they wrote an article on it and quoted me and few others. it looks like the media is trying to twist this situation to try and make it look like this was all the fans fault. other people that were there that morning and know the it was the fault of organization need to go on there and explain this before we get the rap of being crazy out of uncontrol girls

  29. O-M-E!!! says:

i cant believe they are blaming all on the “fan girls” for the SF event

i mean the group is at fault too

but clearly the mall was not ready and everyone paniked when they saw how many people there was

but i think they need to give some blame to the mall for not havine enough security as well as allowing people to be there so early. like i said i was there 4:30 ish…since i thought there was no camp out, i would just be in line…but alas there was camping out and thats what made panic.

at least it kinda worked out…but i still think its bad they sent people home and they put it back on…

  30. Eli Nicole says:

THE EVENT WAS NEVER CANCELLED WATCH THIS VIDEO OF ROB IN DALLAS ADMIT IT WAS A DIVERSION THEN ADMITS HE SHOULD NOT HAVE SAID THAT

  31. Rose says:

I just got back from the Chicago “selling” if you can call it that. I called the management at the mall several times, and each time they reassured me that NO ONE would be allowed in line before 5 a.m., and the selling would not begin until 7:30. I got there this morning at 3 a.m., ready to wait, until 5. A huge crowd was in front of the mall. The tickets had been sold at midnight last night to the fools who broke the rules and camped out before 9 p.m. We were then told to get away from the mall or we would be arrested. I am absolutely disgusted at this, as cars were pulling up every 2 minutes, and girls as young as 8 were crying.

  32. Kel says:

hey rose…I was there too. got there about 3 15 and haven’t been in that area for while, so we planned on checking it out and then finding a nearby denny’s or something. seeing 20 some cars there, we had that ‘no way’ moment where we thought we hit the jackpot. We parked, and even waited a few moments. people were standing out there by the doors, and no one pulled in for a good 15 minutes. Then…they started rolling in. WHAT A JOKE!!!! a slap in the face to those who were respectful enough to abide by the rules. before I could even ask a single question, I was told that I would be arrested. Awesome. I also called Hot Topic yesterday to double check the entrance and the rules, and they informed me of the same thing. They had seemed very organized. I guess they didn’t feel like carrying that through. Why the hell were people allowed there at 10pm to set up camp? give me a break. I am going back tonight for seven, but at the same time, I wonder if I feel like receiving anymore unearned disappointment. It’s one thing to be over 500 fair and square, but what happened this morning…wow. so, I guess now I can be squished in a mob of thousands, in the middle of the mall, and get a whole nothing out of it except for a headache from the screaming. although who knows…they said they are starting at seven or seven thirty? Rob better get there at two, then, because they might get antsy and start it anyways even if he isn’t there yet!

  33. Rebecca says:

As much as i wanted to be there, I couldn’t. Mostly because i’m way too far away. But i’m going to see Kristen Stewart on Friday, hopefully. If i can woo my mom over. After she saw what happened, she thinks it’s going to be too dangerous. And i don’t blame her. We fan girls pack a punch. Summit entertainment should have been prepared. But none the less… do you think it’s going to be the Same way with Kristen Stewart? I don’t think so.

  34. Laurie says:

I work on a nationally syndicated talk show in NY — if you were at the Hot Topic event in San Francisco and was trampled on, hurt, or witnessed a fiasco, I want to hear from you. Please call me at ASAP at 646.638.5633 or email me at castingtallk123@gmail.com

  35. Laurie says:

As I read these comments, it sounds like a bunch of you were at the SF event — please call me ASAP at 646.638.5633 or email castingtalk123@gmail.com…Unfortunately, I do not have the option to email you so I am hoping you are reading these comments and will call me. You might have the chance to be on TV!!!

  36. Kayla says:

On the Kiss FM radio station, they said that the Robert Pattinson in Dallas was a stand-in. He wasn’t even the real guy. I don’t know if it’s true or just a rumor.

  37. Richie says:

They said they were trying to play a trick by using a decoy to get a reaction from fan girls. I don’t understand their reasoning, was it really appropriate to do such a thing especially with the current state this tour is in? Not appropriate at all.
I also read on here that hot topic issued an apology statement stating they had no other means to handle the situation…doesn’t do any good, you still exercised poor business ethics when you lied to your customers and wouldn’t give them clear answers. I wouldn’t want to be in hot topic’s position right now.

  38. cristina says:

what time should i go to the one in miami

  39. O-M-E!!! says:

    hey Laurie.

I was as the SF event, if you read this. perhaps i can give you my take on the SF event, although i have pretty much made said what happened in my comments.

I really just want to help clear the fandom’s name. because they dont deserve all the blame as the media has been leaning towards.

  40. Casey says:

cristina, i’m getting to the miami one around 6.

  41. Marii xD says:

omggg im going to the one in Miami im sooo exited! if my mom goes does she have to pay? shes lik chaperoning me and my 6 friends xD

  42. OMG says:

I was going to have a friend pick up my bracelet to see him at the Square One mall today, but they were only allowing them to take one. However it sates on the website that a customer may be able to purchase 2. Whats up Hot Topic????? i know u wnat to be fair but please get what u are trying to do straight because it is really getting people’s hopes up and then shattering them. Im sry i cant be out all night cause my parents wont let me skip school, but i would have given Hot Topic the money they wanted and i would have been on my best behavior ever. thanks for making me sooo depressed!!!!

  43. SJSigning says:

Everyone needs to back off the people that were in the front of the line at the San Francisco event. Both girls that I took were squished against the front door, one of them said that she thought she was going to be pushed through it. My daughter came home with bruises all over her body from being pushed around. They tried to move but couldn’t because the people behind them wouldn’t move.
I agree that this should have been better organized then it was. My girls, as well as myself, was lucky enough to meet him. No offense to anyone else but if you want to feel sorry for someone feel sorry for Rob. He looked like he was a nervous wreck. He was quiet and very polite. My girls got about a minute with him but we all walked out with a hug from him.
Don’t blame the movie, the books, the actors blame the mall for not allowing Hot Topic to do what they wanted in the first place.

  44. Amanda says:

people cant blame the store or the summit because of this. its the out of control fans if people were rasied right this wouldnt happen rob is just a person and needs his space this is the reason why alot of celbs go hide out they would be more friendly and out going if people would just let them live there lives
