Few actors bring a smile immediately to our faces the way this one does. From popping in and out of on set interviews to his infectious laugh, Taylor Lautner has always been a favorite of ours. It is our fondest pleasure to present our on set interview with the actor cast as Jacob Black in the film adaptation of Twilight by Stephenie Meyer:

OME I LOVE HIM!!! My cousins and I loved him when we first saw his martial arts clips… He’s so cute!! I can not wait to see the movie!!!

Yay, haha. I feel a little fangirl-ish. Taylor is almost the perfect Jacob Black. I’ve always been torn between Edward and Jacob, but I have to say, in real life, you’re more likely to find a Jacob… so he’s almost my favorite. :3 Ahhh.
I’m counting the days! :3
My mom and I both think that Rob can play an amazing Edward, but Taylor IS Jacob, through and through. He and Mike/Mike seem to be the most fan interactive out of the cast (well…maybe Kellan, but still, not as much). And I love that. Taylor is so sweet. I am fully Team Edward and I love him to no end, but Jacob was always more my type of guy, as is Taylor in real life. He’s awesome.
And shannon_love, they haven’t sold the rights to the sequels yet probably because they’re waiting to see how this one turns out, but I have full confidence that Stephenie will be pleased and sell the rights (though maybe one at a time- make sure they keep up the quality)

~~ When we were on set, they were only filming the LaPush scenes – thus, no vampires. We were disappointed that we didn’t get to meet Rob, but there are lots of interviews with him. I think we got lucky to get some of the only footage out there of the werewolves. Sorry we couldn’t get everything, but we did try!

what a perfect jacob! he is exactly how i pictured him! even if he might have some trouble with Jake’s other side in the next books, the most important part of Jacob is his inner sun and boy does Taylor have it! haha! Jake seems to be always in the middle of things, just like Taylor finds himself in ALL of the clips! haha
La tua Cantante, doesn’t Bella meet Jake like YEARS ago? like when Jacob and Bella are kids? so, she met him WAY before she knew Edward existed. so i think the new truck scene is intriguing
Yay this like made by week. I’m like 100% team Jacob so this is pretty awesome to see a five minute video. Also its nice to see the other videos of Taylor popping up everywhere. He is so awesome. So excited to see him play Jacob. Team Jacob FTW!
He is sooo sweet. I want to say whats with the he giving the truck to Bella? Come on!! I just really really hope the movie will be great. He makes a great Jacob even though i’m on team Edward but I hope he will be Jacob in the other movies because i hate it when they change the characters in movie series.

He has a funny laugh. I’m still not entirely convinced that he’ll make a good Jacob, but… well, yeah, he does seem nice enough. And he does have perfect teeth…. I don’t think he’s werewolfy enough, though. It doesn’t matter so much for Twilight, but if they make New Moon into a movie, they’ll have to do something about that. I don’t know, I just really hope he doesn’t disappoint. Maybe I should do what I did for Jackson Rathebone- look him up on youtube and analyze his acting (it worked for Rathebone….)
I have a question. I need to get this straight. Does being Team Edward mean you want him for yourself or for Bella or for both? And same with Team Jacob. Because I’d want Edward for Bella (because they’re so right together) but Jacob with me (because *we’re* so right together) so does that mean I’m Team Switzerland? Because that’s what I’ve been calling myself. Team Switzerland….
Taylor IS Jake! A lot of people before me said it, but it’s completely true. This guy is all smiles and extremely friendly. I can just see him being himself throughout the entire movie. Can’t you just see the space heater in him?

I LOVE TAYLOR AS JACOB BLACK!!! Hes so adoreable and always makes me smile during his interviews. The wig is growing on me slowly but I think that he will do very well and I cant wait to see what he does in the (hopefully) following movies.
