Kellan’s sister Brittany (hi Brittany) pointed us in the direction of this interview with Kellan that gives some insight into his personality and work.

A variety of sites have photos of filming locations:

There are also some shot floating around of Kristen and her double on the Kristen Stewart resource site (it’s really hard to see her) getting out of a Taxi, possibly her arrival scene at back in Phoenix.

A very happy birthday to Kellan Lutz who plays Emmett in the Twilight movie.  Have fun filming the cafeteria scenes this week!

Mike Welch, who play Mike Newton in the Twilight movie, just updated his blog. 

Poor guy just got a speeding ticket up there on his way to film. That brought back memories of the time fans met Stephenie in Forks. Several people got tickets for driving over the speed limit. So, if you are driving on small town roads in the area, watch you speed. Well, whatever money Mike has to dole out for the ticket, he at least won’t have to worry that it will take away from his clothing budget.

The Hollywood Reporter has an article on Twilight and movies in general being made in the Pacific Northwest.  Thanks to Kon for the head’s up.

One of the quotes from Catherine Hardwicke is pretty amusing:

"It’s been pretty challenging so far," Hardwicke said. "We’ve got a delicate condition; for exterior scenes, we can only shoot under cloud cover. In a normal movie case, it is a beautiful sunny day, you go, ‘Oh great, we get to shoot.’ In our case, when it’s a beautiful sunny day, we’re like, ‘Oh great, we can’t shoot’ because vampires can’t be outside in the sun."

In the mean time we asked Chelle a few questions about Peter’s website: 

Lexicon – How did you and Peter meet?

Chelle – We actually met through his previous website.

Lexicon – How has the response been to Peter on the site?

Chelle – Everyone has been wonderful and very supportive. Nothing but kind words and encouragement.

Lexicon – Is there anything you think Peter would appreciate the fans posting on his myspace?

Chelle – I think everyone is doing a great job posting comments and replying to his bulletins. I would say that’s one of the best things you can do.

Lexicon – Have read the books, and did you do so before or after Peter’s casting?

Chelle – When Peter first got the role, he told me to pic up the book (Twilight) and thank God he did because I’m hooked. I finished that book a little less than two weeks ago. I read it over three days I think. I’m now on New Moon, but I’m making progress on this one VERY slowly, despite my desire to want to devour it. Unfortunately work and my family life have been keeping me pretty busy.

Thank you Chelle for being such a wonderful advocate with the fans.  And we can’t wait till you finish the series and join us!
