There is an article talking about Stephenie coming to Kansas as part of her The Host Tour.

K from Kalama is back with today’s behind the scenes look at what it’s like being an extra. (Edited: Based on my emails, there seems to be some confusion that I think is based on our extra reporter’s screen name(she attends Kalama HS when not being an extra), let me explain. We know they are no longer shooting in Kalama H.S. but rather at a different High School where they are doing indoor work on a closed set. They will then be shooting some other scenes at other locations. I hope that clears things up.)
So here are my notes from today…:

Back in March 2006 Alphie had this idea for a website. Over the course of the month of March different features were added, and finally on March 28, 2006 the structure that you see today with the blog and forum was finally working.
So we are starting our annual birthday celebration. We were stunned last year when we had 5,000 members. Believe us we are more stunned at 16,000 registered visitors and the 30,000+ who visit this site everyday. We hope you all are having fun because we are.
Come on over to the birthday archive and help us celebrate!
The Bella Cullen Project is a band that Stephenie featured on her MySpace awhile back. They have a gig this weekend and will also be playing at a Breaking Dawn release party.
The Bella Cullen Project
This rockin’ new band derives all of their inspiration from the ever-popular Twilight series by Stephenie Meyer. Join us for an afternoon of music, books and (of course) vampires! To check out the band ahead of time, visit their MySpace page at http://www.myspace.com/thebellacullenproject for all their latest info and tunes.

Publisher’s Weekly is reporting that Eclipse, known in Germany as "Bella and Edward: A Bite For Supper" debuted at number one in Germany.
EDITED: Well it seems that Publisher’s Weekly has a bit of a translation problem. Here’s an update from Katie as to what the book titles actually mean!
While browsing the Lexicon, I came across an update in which you stated that "Eclipse" is known in Germany as "Bella and Edward: A Bite for Supper". That isn’t the title of the book. I’m a german student currently reading the entire Twilight series in German in preparation for a foreign exchange trip, and I can honestly tell you that you mistranslated the title. The German title for the book is "Bis(s) zum Abendrot", which translates as "Until Sunset (Bis zum Abendrot)," or "Bite (Biss)". I think you probably misinterpreted the title as "Biss zur Abendbrot," which would indeed be "A bite of supper".
Sorry if I seem a little bit anal about translations…Just thought I’d share. ^^’
Dankeschoen,
Katie
P.S. Just because we’re on the subject, the title of Twilight in German is "Bis(s) zum Morgengrauen" (Until Dawn), and the title of New Moon in German is "Bis(s) zur Mittagstunde" (Until Midday, or Until Noon).
They also mention the novel in this recap article as well.
The Twilight Saga continues its position in the top three (this week at one) on the New York times Best Seller List. The Twilight Saga(now in the series category–three books and you move to the series category.) has not left that list since Eclipse debuted in August 2007. New Moon(then in the chapter book category) was published in August 2006 and remained on that list from the time of its debut until Eclipse was published and the category changed. Breaking Dawn continues to be in the top 20 in the Barnes and Nobel and Amazon lists (in the 10 and 11 positions respectively at the time of this report). It will certainly make its debut on the New York Times Bestseller list when it releases, the only question at hand is in what position.
The Peninsular Daily News has an article about the Twilight Movie filming on the beaches there.
Thanks to bluebelle for the heads up.
Between the 1000’s of questions hitting our inbox for Rob, the number of cast interviews around the net, the excited buzz for pictures, the number of people flying to the Pacific Northwest in March just for the hopes at a glimpse at the cast, etc. I think it’s obvious by now that there is massive, world-wide support for the Twilight movie and its cast.
Some fans recently decided to go for a visual show of support. Over 100 fans from around the globe participated in this YouTube video.
Thanks to NoMoreMarbles for sharing and being a part of the project.
K from Kalama is lucky enough to be an extra in the scenes being shot this week. Here’s what it’s like being an extra from her own viewpoint. You can definitely tell that it’s not all bright lights and glory, but boy there are some unique moments too.
Okay, here is the day’s, interesting, happenings…(yessum, I took notes! ^^)
That is the interesting and not so interesting day… the extras(except for those who were in the bio classroom) were only used for about 1.5 hours out of 11.5 hours today! But, I wouldn’t give up this chance for anything!

Earlier, we shared a fan moment that Mae had on the set of Twilight. We also shared with you the comments from Kate about watching that moment. Now we have video footage of Robert meeting Mae. It’s so adorable! Thanks to twilightvinculum for posting the video.
