Allheadlinenews.com has posted a list of Amazon’s "Best Selling Books in July so Far." Breaking Dawn’s prerelease sales have made it number one.

The Mitch Hansen Band will be playing at the Midnight Release party on August 1st in Mansell Crossings, just outside of Alpharetta, Georgia for anyone who would like to check it out.

As a reminder — The Bella Cullen Project will be playing at the Midnight Release Party at Barnes & Noble – The Parks Mall on August 1st.

And finally … The newest addition to our Twilight Bands page — The Twilight Music Girls — will be playing at the Breaking Dawn Release Party at Borders in Hollywood. For those of you in the LA area you will most definately want to check them out. And for those of you not — you can check out their music on their MySpace page – definately worth a listen.  

Its Twilight Tuesday!  And this week MTV spotlights actor Robert Pattinson! (Oi…what a day for the comments to be off!)  Head over and watch the interview and then hear what Rob has to say about the devoted fanbase on the MTV blog.

As we reported yesterday there will be a segment on Entertainment Tonight this evening that will include a feature on the exclusive scene that is on the Penelope DVD special features.  The clarification has now been verified that – barring any breaking entertainment news stories that would bump the segment – Entertainment Tonight will air the world premiere of a BRAND NEW Twilight trailer TODAY!!!  (This trailer will be available online Thursday regardless of whether it premieres on ET tonight.) 

Please check your local listings to see when Entertainment Tonight is broadcast in your area. 

Edit: We do not know whether or not this is a full length trailer or another smaller one.  Summit is calling it Trailer #2.  I guess we will just have to tune in and see.

The message boards have now been fixed.  (Thanks to our wonderful Tech guru 24601!)  As a reminder you will have the next 2 hours, until 9pm EST. to post on the front page and the message boards.  At that time the message boards will be locked and the front page comments will be turned off until August 3rd as requested by Stephenie.  We will continue to post Twilight news as usual, just with the comments turned off. 

Don’t forget to log your Theory Bet.  As well as chime in on our Great Debate held over from last week on Imprinting. 

PW has an article about the new precieved notion of Midnight Release Parties. It talks about Breaking Dawn and Brisingr putting the Midnight Release party to the test — asking the question  — are midnight parties necessarily the best way to boost sales and reading excitement?

Blackbook has a fun article with our favorite human Mike/Mike.

According to this article on 13wham.com, Entertainment Tonight will be airing the Scene tomorrow. So Twilighters get those DVR ready!  We do not believe this to be a new Trailer, despite what the article states. It is the Scene from the Penelope DVD. But I am checking on it now.
