Hillywood Teams Up With Peter Facinelli

The Hillywood Show has worked closely with Peter Facinelli over the past three years at the Official Twilight Tours. Now they are teaming up officially. According to their press release:

Hilly and Hannah Hindi are back at it! The sisters behind the Hillywood Show® – a YouTube program dedicated to pop-culture skits and spoofs of big-time blockbusters and Hollywood’s hottest celebrities – have just released their latest: The Hunger Games Parody.

The parody, which was co-produced with YouTube’s music discovery channel myISH and Facinelli Films (the film production company of Peter Facinelli) plays homage to The Hunger Games – the beloved-book- series-turned-major-Hollywood-film. Caesar, the Hunger Games’ flamboyant, blue-haired host (played by Hilly), evokes the Capitol citizens’ obsession with appearance. Singing and dancing along to entertainer Jimmy James’ song Fashionista, Caesar and the tributes (including Hannah as Katniss Everdeen) “show a look, have a look, or give a look.” You can also catch a sneak peek into the making of the video on myISH.

MTV’s Hollywood Crush blog says, “The sisters pull off a fun preview of their talents for viewers unfamiliar with their other videos.” Have you seen the Hunger Games Parody yet?

Past Hillywood® parodies include a Lady Gaga-friendly version of The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn, which has been viewed more than 2.5 million times on YouTube, and a hilarious Harry Potter spoof to the tune of Rebecca Black’s song Friday – with a whopping 3.4 million YouTube views. And their Halloween parody on Lady Gaga – Gagaween – has been seen and approved by Lady Gaga herself!

myISH is your channel for discovering new music daily. No matter what you’re into at the moment (electro-pop? hip hop? garage rock?), our music-maniacal hosts will turn you on to just-released singles, news bands, never-seen performances, exclusive artist interviews, emerging YouTube stars, and more.

  1. That was NOT the best parody the Hillywood Show has done. Pretty boring.

    • Dianne S. says

It was made in 24 hours, that’s why it doesn’t compare to other parodies they have done. I enjoyed it for what it was.

    • Besides, they did it before the movie was released so that’s why it didn’t have a lot of scenes and stuff, I’d love to see someone trying to do something like that in only 5 hours. So..GET OVER IT!

      • Rachelle says

I think that for what it is, it is good, but to say that it is the best parody they have done is actually an insult. They have done much better, more in-depth parodies that showcase their talents much more than THG Parody did. For being made in 5 hours, it was okay. Compared to their other parodies, not so much.

        • I think this is one of their best as well. their other parodies had 3 days and over to film. only 5 hours to do THG? thats crazy but of course Hillywood did it. and when has hillywood ever done something expected? they played with the materialism of the THG and used it to their advantage. when I think about it, this has much more creativity than most of their past Parodies. I , Personally, like the Jack Sparrow episodes more than any of the specific movie parodies they had done. THG is among the top for me.

I love that Girls make the best video ever whit the Gaga-halloween and Breaking Down Parody. Awesome! absolutely fantastic.
