MTV: How to Spend Time Until Breaking Dawn Part 2

MtvlogoKara Warner over at MTV tweeted out a question yesterday: “How are you passing the time from now until November 16, 2012? BD2 release”

We responded along with lots of others.

Our friends at Twilight Lexicon offered a shout-out to Internet stars/comedic sister duo Hannah and Hilly Hindi’s “The Hillywood Show,” who recently reached their goal of raising $10,000 to produce a “Breaking Dawn” parody. “Looking forward to the @HillywoodShow Breaking Dawn parody. They raised 10K to do it,” the Lexicon tweeted.

Others suggested re-watching “Twilight,” “New Moon” “Eclipse” and “Breaking Dawn – Part 1” and re-reading Stephenie Meyer’s books that inspired it all.

“@Twilight movie marathons, re-reading the books for my 6th time and of course twitter :),” wrote Jimena Martinez.

Sarah M., who is one of the lovely ladies behind the Kristen Stewart’s Hot Bodyguard Facebook page, seems to be developing a budget so she can come to Los Angeles next year for the premiere and camp out again in Tent City.

“Work, work, work to save $ for Tent City 2012 and hoping for some #SWATH promos/premieres w/ Kristen & @KStewsHBG :),” Sarah tweeted, referring to Stewart’s other big movie, “Snow White and the Huntsman.”

Check out more suggestions over at MTV. What are you doing?

  1. Joshua L. Roberts says:

I plan to fill my time be getting my own fantasy/adventure novel “The Wolf Prince” agented and published, and all the while starting a new book franchise…playing Skyrim… ( 😛 ) Yes next year will fly for me. busy busy busy

  2. in no particular order: read the books again and again, read fan fiction, watch the TWS movies and the actors’ other movies, read the Host, keep up with things via Twilight Lexicon, work on my blog of Twilight poems and other – that should keep me going for the next 11months.

  3. Everyone needs to explore the world of Twilight fanfiction (if you’re not already doing so.) There are some very good authors out there (some better than Stephenie!) and some pretty incredible stories. I’ve written nearly 700,000 words of fanfiction and I’m shooting for 1 million by the time Breaking Dawn 2 comes out!

  4. Don’t forget the graphic novels!

  5. Barbie Wilson says:

If you plan to read Fan fiction start with “Wide Awake” by angstgoddess! It’s great! Starts a little rough but you will get swept up! It’s a very long story and I read it in a heartbeat because I could not put it down!

  6. Read the books over again! (Just finished Twilight AGAIN!) , keep watching the movies! Talk about it non stop with my friends and…keep checking Twilight Lexicon and Twicrack Addict for updates! but even after doing all of that, November 16 2012 is just toooo far away!!

  7. Victoria Cullen Chmiel says:

I really want to camp out in tent city and see the premiere of bd p.2!!!! I’ve never camped out so can anyone give me any info and such? thx

  8. -staring at the wall in silence-

  9. You might also try reading The Hunger Games. It’s an excellent series and the movie is coming out March 23. I’m going to the midnight premier to that one, too!

    • I’m currently reading the first book in the Hunger Games trilogy and I’m loving it so far. Can’t wait to see the film in March. Of course also eagerly waiting for BD part 2 as well.

  10. It’s a total waste of time putting together a petition to have BD2 released early. Lots of factors go into the decision of when to release a film. They look at what other films will be released in the same time frame to mitigate the competition. You’re wasting your energy. It’s a money issue and it won’t matter if 200 million fans sign your petition,

  11. I’m gonna get comeely prepared for the movie just so I know and already have what I neeeeed

  12. My theory, only a theory, not a rumor: I think Stephenie will release a new book, hopefully Midnight Sun, sometime in the next 11 months. Bree Tanner came out between the New Moon and Eclipse movies, and the official guide came out between the Eclipse and Breaking Dawn movies.

    • I like your theory!
I’ve been thinking that too. But SM was pretty upset over the leak issue… So I’m wondering if it will be long after after DB2 is out or (sob) never. You have to remeber she’s producing BD2 and The Host in that time. We might score the second Host book in the next 11 months… if we’re lucky.
