Lori will not be in Portland for the Official Twilight Convention this weekend. Shelley is going solo. Lori’s mom is undergoing major surgery today they only discovered it would be necessary a few days ago when her mom wasn’t doing well again. If you are so inclined, if you could keep her in your thoughts and prayers it would be appreciated.
Update: Lori’s mom went through the first phase of the operation well. They are now moving on to the second item.
Second Update: My mom is out of surgery and in the ICU for recovery. The next 24 hours are still critical to make sure everything keeps working well. In case you haven’t been following me on twitter, this was a heart situation brought on from the dangerous infection she had a few weeks ago. Thanks for all your support and prayers today. I wouldn’t normally use the Lexicon in this way, but mom has been a behind the scenes contributor to the site since day one helping out with kids so I can do what I need to do around here. We’ll let you know when she’s all better!
