  1. Set the recording! Muse has become one of my favorite bands so I’m really excited!

  2. MUSE, Florence and the Machine and Vampire Weekend all on the Eclipse soundtrack, ALL AT T IN THE PARK!!!!! Ive just died and gone to FORKS 😉 xxxx

  3. I just bought the origonal Twilight soundtrack two days ago and just heard Muse’s song on there. Supermassive Black Hole is one of my favorite songs now. Hey, I know it’s a few years old, but better late then never.

  6. Man, I need to get my planner out! So much I need to watch!!!!

  7. I was afraid i wasn’t going to like it after i saw the 30 second clip, but i looooove it now. The lyrics are a bit cheesy though(not the good kind). Anyway, it’s amazing.Probably never going to hear this song live though.

  8. Sweet! One time I’ll actually be watching MTV will be to catch the music video. Can’t wait! I love both their songs they’ve contributed so far & am looking forward to this one!

  9. I dunno. Lots of bombast. Eclipse isn’t really like that; something about the tone. Perhaps it will blend with the film better than I envision. I liked Death Cab’s single much better; they got the tone just right. And I could hum the tune.

Maybe if Muse read the books they would have done better. (The drummer, Dom, just did an interview on XFM in the UK, available online, where he says that at least he never read the books. How can they even face Stephenie?)

    • Dom also said in that interview that they didn’t write the song for the movie. It was supposed to be a b-side or for the next album. Matt said in another interview that he wrote the song about his girlfriend after they broke up. The song’s about him remembering what the beginning of their relationship was like; the feeling that their love could never end. The lyrics were just cheesy and general enough to use for Twilight.
