EDITED: We have asked Summit for clarification on fans lining up, possibility of people seeing the movie, etc. They’re a little busy the next two days with Oprah and then the Letters to Juliet opening, so we may not have an immediate answer!

  1. Damn it… someone give me an all expenses paid trip for two to LA and passes to this premiere… and if possible, can i have Kristen Stewart on one side of me and Ashley Greene on the other…

  2. So, does that mean we can line up to meet the cast like for twilight and new moon? confused!

  3. The Festival will host the invitation-only world premiere of Summit Entertainment’s The Twilight Saga: Eclipse on June 24 looks like no ones going to be able to see the movie unless they invite you

What’s going on with Oprah now? Is it Twilight-related? Am I missing something here?

    • Julianne says

Yes, Eclipse show on Oprah on May 13th. Tweets out there, audience saw rough cut of Eclipse today, show is being taped tomorrow.

  5. LUISA:
Robert, Kristen, and Taylor are all in Chicago today. They are taping an episode of Oprah which is scheduled to air next thursday which is a very special day since it’s Robert’s 24th bday.

    Hope this clears things up!

  6. I’m really suprised that Summit didn’t annouce this within the hour that LAFF did. I mean.. come on! Surly LAFF had to ask permission/extend an invitation be become part of the film festival. It’s not like the LAFF is held in someone’s garage. This takes months and months of planning. Is there just one monkey sitting up there in the Summit booth? A little small press release was too much? *shakes head* Curse you Summit and your dragging feet.

OK, so I think I might have to buy tickets & go. i’ve never been to a premier before & hey you only live once. So, why not do something you’ve always wanted to do, right?

  8. Molly G. says

Hey Guys! According to Kaleb Nation (via Twitter), this isn’t going to be the “official” red carpet premiere! Apparently, he has gotten the word from Summit, so hopefully this isn’t a bunch of “he-said/she-said” non-sense. I wouldn’t mind hearing if from Summit though!
