Rachelle Lefevre To The Rescue

Rachelle-LeFevre-HoneyWe’ve all known what a great animal lover Rachelle is. She and her dog, Honey(seen left), were in several publications promoting responsible pet ownership and keeping you pet healthy. Sadly, Rachelle’s Honey passed away just before Christmas. Rachelle, according to People magazine, isn’t forgetting about Honey, but is moving on:

“Rachelle Lefevre is not one to break New Year’s resolutions. Just three days after a Dec. 30 Tweet announcing that she planned to adopt a dog, the Twilight star and actor-boyfriend Jamie Thomas King went to Baldwin Park, a Los Angeles-area high-kill shelter, and rescued not one but two pups! “They were both on the ‘at risk’ list,” Lefevre tells PEOPLEPets.com. “If no one rescued them within the week they were going to be put down.” In an instant, cocker spaniel Momma Bear and miniature poodle Jack Sprat were given a second chance at life”

  1. Yay! Good for her. This makes me love her even more. She truly did a wonderful thing.

  2. im not a big fan of her, but after hearing this i think she is wonderful! what a big heart she has! if everyone was a little more caring for animals like her we wouldnt have millions of animals being put to sleep every year!

  3. What happened to Honey? Does anyone know?

  4. Good for you, Rachelle! Love ya’! Beautiful pic, BTW.

  5. did anyone else think this was Taylor Swift at first glance?

    • LOL! She does look a lot like Taylor here. I never thought about it before. She could play Taylor’s older sister or young aunt.

  6. @ mananda. Ha ha it does look like her…
Anyway Rachelle being an animal lover makes me admire her even more.

  7. That is SO great! I live by Baldwin Park and had no idea it was a a high-kill shelter. I’ll be getting my dogs from there too!

  8. I still feel so sad for Rachelle. Honey was such a lovely pet.

  9. It’s great to hear that Rachelle is feeling better in regards to the loss of Honey, so much so that she & her boyfriend adopted two dogs who would otherwise be killed if left at this place. You can tell that she has a big heart!

On another note, I watched the new lawyer show that she’s been cast in, The Deep End, and I really liked it. I think it will be a regular on my list of shows to watch & I watched it because I saw her in the previews.

  10. My spouse and I absolutely love your blog and find many of your post’s to be exactly what I’m looking for.
Does one offer guest writers to write content for you personally?

I wouldn’t mind composing a post or elaborating on some of the subjects you write with regards to here. Again, awesome web site!
