Edward Goes To La Push…Sort Of

The Miller Tree Inn, a fabulous Bed and Breakfast located in Forks, has their own blog with adventures with Edward.

If you have ever been to Forks, the house is located immediately adjacent to the police department. It’s a beautiful, sprawling white Victorian with majestic trees surrounding it.  The owners also have a great sense of humor. They have a wipe board located on their door where Esme and Carlisle frequently write messages to folks wandering by to take pictures.

  1. i wish the cullen’s house in the movie had stuck with the victorian look, rather than modern inside and out…

  2. I wholeheartedly agree. The movie house was so far off from what it was in the book. First, its white in the book and looks (well i think it does) more like a farm house than uber-modern. And i felt it was more in a clearing than in the woods, and edward’s room was not even close to size (how do they expect to fit a massive bed in there when you can walk across it in 5 steps?) That’s one of the parts of the movie that disappointed me…

  3. I just returned from my Spring Break trip from Forks yesterday. I stayed at the Miller Tree Inn and loved it. Bill and Susan are very hospitable and have totally embraced Twilight. They have signs for every room in which you can choose who you think the room belongs to. It is a must if you visit Forks…so is the new tour from Dazzled by Twilight.

  4. When we visited Forks on Valentine’s Day, we stopped by the inn and took pictures of the white board on the porch. It was so cute, saying they were all out volunteering at the local blood bank! It’s great that the town of Forks is embracing this as much as they are. Everyone we met in Forks was super nice and very hospitable!

  5. When we went to Forks last year for Stephenie Meyer Day, the Inn had a Birthday card for Bella that we all got to sign. We also got a tip from a local that there was a house just outside of town that was the perfect “Cullen” house. It was bigger than the Miller Tree Inn, with forest all around and a river nearby. That was the best trip ever! I can’t wait to go back!

I live about 2.5hrs away and its so crazy that just a few years ago, it was a dying logging town, just something you drive through to get to the reservation or the beach…now it is BOOMING! YAYAY stephanie meyer for helping a little town!

  7. Carolyn says:

That is the coolest thing I’ve read. I’m really looking forward to getting to visit Forks in the next year. I’m waiting for my child to be born then maybe late this year I’ll try and make a trip to see all of this!

  8. I so wish to go to Forks. But my parents won’t let me go alone. So I guess I’ll have tp wait until a few more years.

  9. Giggle dorks (me and mom) says:

We’re going to Forks, and La Push. We are staying in La Push. They have this nice seaside reasort. We have one month to go, and I think my mom and I are going to explode. At least my dad will be there to pick up the pieces. La Push, Baby!!!! Don’t be jealous.

  10. I went there for christmas, and it was sooo pretty. They had it all decked out for christmas and had lights and a Cullen 12 days of christmas sign on their door. Very nice place. 🙂

I went there! It was incredibly pretty, and I really enjoyed the little Twilight things they had. All of Forks was so into the whole thing, it’s really neat that they’re embracing it like that. = )

  13. Me and my friend have been dyin to go there since we read the books, we just have to wait until our parents will let us.:(

I love the Miller Tree Inn! I stayed there in October 2007 on my very first Twilight retreat. It was great. The owners were sooo nice. I highly recommend staying there.
