So last night I was at my friend’s house for a birthday party, and one of my other friends was checking her e-mail on AOL, and there was something about Robert Pattinson in the news thing and I only saw the word “embarrassed” and his picture. Anyone know about that?

the thing is that i dont want to read the host because its supposed to be real sci-fi ish and i dont want to think of sm like that kind of writer cuz im not that into sci-fi i mean i love star wars as much as the next guy but thats as far as it goes for me plus i love the twilight series and i dont want her other work to influence how i think about the twilight series
also on one of the charts it says twilight saga (childrens series) or somthing like that what the heck does that mean?
did they make twilight into a kids book or somthing?
ASCLUMSYASBELLA: i read the host and believe me its so not sci fi… she focuses on the character, jus like she does for twilight, and u forget its a sci-fi book… really its science fiction for those who don’t like science fiction… i TOTALLY recommend it

I don’t think you have to worry. I read The Host before Breaking Dawn came out, and it’s not really as much sci-fi as everyone thinks…or at least you don’t realize if it is lol. And I still love Twilight, so I don’t think it’ll influence how you feel about the series. But it’s a really good book, and Stephenie does a really good job with it. So I recommend it as well!

I’ve literally JUST finished reading the Host for the fourth time. Came on here straight after, and it is an excellant book. Its not really that sci-fi. It focuses more on the relationships.
Anyway I really hope you read it.
And on IMDB, Twilight is now #2 at the box office…
Four Christmases is number 1.

You should REALLY try to read The Host! I mean i was afraid a little to read it cause i didnt want to be dissapointed casue i Love the twilight series soooo much,BUT i actually ended up reading it faster than I did ANY of the Twilight books! I was shocked. It’s really not that sci-ci..I mean you get sooo involves with the characters just like in Twilight and I love that you its still feels like a Stephenie Meyer book almost like i was reading twilight cause her writing technique is the same. I mean reading this book you are constantly DYING to see what will happen next!!! I LOOOVED it and it made me realize that I will now read ANYTHING that Stephenie will write about!! I mean are you kidding me? look at how good the Twilight series is. All of her stuff is going to be AMAZING!!! Please give it a chance, you wont regret it at all. I hope they will make a Movie of The Host too!!! I cried reading it also. You are really missing out if you dont. I have read it a couple of times already.

i think you ahould really read The Host. when i fist saw the book i was like ” i dont want to read this” but my friend convince me so i read it. it was so amazing you didnt even realize it was sci-fi. i couldnt put the book down. it even made me cry, and when it does that its a very good book. so i think you should read it because i think you are missing out and it wont change how you feel about twilight because i still think its the greatest book ever. so you should really read it.

really if you haven’t read the Host you should it is really good. It takes a bit of getting into and is slow at the beginning but is a great story.
