Forks celebrated Stephenie Meyer day in style this year, complete with photo ops of Police Chief "Charlie Swan" and Bella’s red truck as well as tours of the Forks High school. The article mentions Twilighters For Forks and our attempt to help save the high school. Visit their site for more details.

Hey were were there we got some great photos it was a ton of fun we will post them for everyone to see as soon as we get home. We have to drive back home and it will take us at least two days to do it.
Misfit.
OHHH!! It sounded like sooo much fun! It’s time like these that I really hate living in Canada. I will one day go to Forks on Stephenie Meyer day! I will. That will be like one of my goals
I hope that everyone who went there had fun!
i went! it was soo much fun.
Great article, and mentions the twilight Lexicon fans, YEA!
That sounded soo fun!
I hope we can save the high school!
That sounded so awesome! Aww, I wish I could’ve gone!
Sounds really fun. I’m so going next year!
IM SOOO JEALOUS! im going next summer and everyday i wish it was summer again….but Happy Stephenie Meyer Day!
Oh my. This makes me laugh so much. The things people will do for money… XD
And this whole “Saving Forks High School” is a load of bull. School buildings need to be renovated every now and then FOR THE SAFETY OF THE STUDENTS.
You want them using ancient bathrooms and living with no air conditioning?
So help me, God.
They are trying to save the building from being torn down, not from being renovated.
I really wish I could’ve gone there!
It’s so unfair to be living in Montreal,CA at such a time.
I totally agree with TeamTwilight(2).It would be my goal too to go to Forks on Stephenie Meyer Day.And I can guarantee that I will.
I wish I was there, I have a friend that only lives 3 hours from Forks so they went there for Stephenie Meyer day. I unfortunately would have to drive 12 hours to get there.
I wish I still lived in Washington.
I went! It was so cool! I got second place for Bella look alike! Everyone around me kept telling me that I should’ve won first. Oh well. Its no biggy! I’m just glad I got to go! ^_^
We drove all the way from Southern California and we were not the only ones. People came from all over we ran into someone who came all the way from the UK.

Other schools need to be saved as well, and we’re all concerned on forks high school since it was involved in the Twilight Series.
Haha… solution. Write a New Yorks Best Time Seller that involves a high school, that’s secretly in need to be saved ;] Then, you have fans help out by going on tours! hah…
Wow! One of these years I’ll make it up there for SM Day… I just think it’s so cool! My hubby and I have always wanted to visit Seattle, now I’ll just have to plan a trip around that!
I wish I was there =/ next year i am so going. i hope everyone who went had a great time.
I really wish I was able to go! I’ll be leaving for Forks in 2 days though! Only a week late lol.
Woot parties! Sounds awesome.
I live here! and i gave tours around the high school since im the ASB president. I remember seeing the 2nd place bella look alike contest. The whole day was really fun. I enjoyed it. I recomend that all of you come if you can it’s so cool! If you want you can keep in touch with me and when you decide to come and need help then hit me up.

I wanna see the Edward, Bella and Jacob (especially Edward
)
Can you guys imagine? OMG I want to go! XD Ooooh and imagine being picked as the Edward or Jake look-a-like. It’s be like…Someone shoving a pile of icecream infront of some icecream lovers. They all go in, and then they’re gone and there’s nothing left! XD
OME!!!!!! I wanted to be there sooooo bad!!! I just want to see Edward
;0 Bella, and Jacob.
Rose, i agree especially Edward!!!
*sighs dreamily*
My best friend was the Edward lookalike, a few girls found his Facebook and he got a flood of friend requests. My cousin and I forced him to enter the competition.
I remember the second place Bella, my cousin and I were rooting for you! During the top three, we were the ones shouting, “Girl in middle!”
Just a quick bit more to Ally, my cousin was also the one who shouted that it was “Bullsh**” when you didn’t win. She was fuming about it the whole way home.
It’s too bad that First Beach was so foggy that day, when it’s clear, La Push can be the most beautiful place in the world. It made me sad that so many visitors wouldn’t get to enjoy it.
U go, rose!!! But don’t forget about Jacob!!!
You do know that the high school is sh** i go to school there every day. Those of you that are donating money to “save” the school donate so we can get a new one. you dont know what its like being in a class room thats freezing! for the whole entire day. who cares if the book takes “place” there. all of you have to remember that Stephanie meyer wrote the book before she even came to Forks. So technicly all the settings in Forks where made up. Use another building as the school. None of you have any idea what this town needs so stay out of it unless your vote counts or you live here. And i apologize for ranting on you all. It’s just rude to stick your nose in something that you have no idea of
