It sounds like MTV got two messages loud and clear: 1. Twilight fans are a force to be reckoned with
2. We LOVE all of the Twilight actors, but especially Rob!!
New article about Midnight Sun and Stephenie… the writer was very rude.

Ladies if you want to be upset then go ahead and visit Blash magazine. After the two low class opinion pieces, they had in there about the twilight Saga, I promise to never go back to that site. They only write inflammatory opinions, the student writer in blash magazine is trying to get out of obscurity, and she is using the Twilight Saga as a vehicle, do not support their blog. Please no visits to that site. Remember last time when we went and wrote a different opinion, they abuse and insulted the visitors. The only way they attract attention to that site is when they use Sphenies’ name or the Twilight books. The popularity of the blog is measure according to how many hits it gets. That is my humble opinion but you are always free to do what you want.
In short, we’re not linking to it directly, because it’s now old news (the vast majority of credible media picked up the story when it broke over a week ago), and in the grand scheme of things a 19-year-old blogger with an axe to grind is just not that important.
I have a really random question! But is it true that Paramore have a song on the twilight soundtrack??? Oh and is it on youtube?
Thank you for not posting it. It seems as though people use Stephenie’s name as a way to get hits on their site. If you really look at the MTV movies blog, it’s easy to tell why.
You look at any other story and the have maybe ten comments at a stretch, you hit a Twilight story and more often than not the comments are in the hundreds.
We are passionate about Stephenie Meyer and her books and outlets such as this ‘blast magazine’ seems to exploit that. Taking a cheap shot at something to get hits doesn’t exactly encourage me to visit their site.
I am of a mind that everyone is entitled to their opinion, but if you don’t like something, it doesn’t necessitate rude and biased opinions. They just don’t seem to look at anything objectively.
Not that I’m surprised, it’s why I try to stay away from the sites that throw out rude and crude comments.
The Twilight fandom is large and passionate, we are all united by our love of the series, and a majority of us are huge fans of Stephenie herself.
I just wish that we weren’t used as a crutch to get the hit counters up in numbers.
You know I think is funny. When Rob was first announced most (emphasize most not all) Twilight fans complained and shunned him for other “better” Edward choices and now they are all wanting to kill Russell over this snub. Im not complaing I am glad…but I had to say so.

poor Jackson, him and his bad hair days on set. but i like the hair now!! I love peter i think he will do really great in the movie!!!!
That totally shows how strong our fandom is and that you definitely shouldn’t make us mad. I do think some people are going a little over board though. I still hated the host anyway.

Okay… am I the only one? I watched Peter’s video… which I thought was great! What a dear hearted soul. Then I went to watch related Twilight videos ( i.e. Cam or Jackson) and each one clicks right over to Russel Brand’s entrance on the vma’s! I started giggling, he is not my thing. But, I don’t hate him… he is just a person. But, it was like is there some cosmic reason that all things Twilight have to be linked Russel right now. Did it happen to anyone else? I am a bit tired of all the drama and I am ready to just enjoy the series and look forward to a really great movie… that will hopefully sell tons of tickets and afford for the sequels to be made!!

I am with you on being tired of the drama. I think everyone has just immersed themselves in this book and its characters to the point that we have forgotten that it is fiction. Robert IS NOT Edward – he seems like a sky, humble guy who stepped into a situation that was much bigger then he thought it would be. He would probably prefer to blend into the background the way he once did.
I, like the rest of you, am completely obsessed with Twilight and am so looking forward to the movie, but I think we all need to remember that these people are normal – just like you and I.
everyone is so ready for the movie, and more interviews, I really like everyone in the Twilight cast but Rob, what a breeze of fresh air, very unassuming.
I hope we get to see Russell’s response to all us angry Twilight fans. I don’t think he realized what he sparked when he cut off Rob. XD
I so love Peter Facinelli. At first, I wasn’t sure about him, but now I think he’s great. I love the prank story. *giggles* Silly Edi.
Just a side note: remember that Twilight Tuesday a couple weeks ago when they talked about shooting new scenes? It took me forever to figure out why Peter was at the 90210 premiere. Seriously. And then it hit me, and I was all like “d’uh!”

Hey, here’s a random question-anybody have an answer? Does anyone know when the Twilight trailers are going to actually be in the movie theaters during the previews?? Has anyone seen it yet? If so, what movie did you go see? We’re dying to find the movie that’s going to show the trailer. We want to see it on the big screen!!! Ugh! I can’t wait until 11/21!!!
vle: I haven’t been able to find anything about when the video for The Resolution is coming out…but I’m assuming very shortly, as the album, The Glass Passenger, is due out 9/30.
And I just bought my tix to see Jack’s Mannequin in Philly on 11/18. Also, hopefully will be seeing them at the Chicago show on 11/9 and maybe meeting them…Woot woot!
Jamie H: Twilight trailers have already been out. I have yet to see one, and since the trailers shown are different for each movie shown, and are different at all theaters across the county, someone may see it on one movie in one state, and someone else see the same movie in another state and never see that trailer. I know it has shown for Prince Caspian and The Dark Knight, for sure. I haven’t seen a movie in the theater though since Dark Knight, and I’m very impatient to actually see the trailer on the big screen…so basically I need to go stalk the movie theater and see *everything.*
Same, here waiting to see the trailer. No twilight trailer yet. I was stalking every movie getting there early, cause I didn’t want to miss it, but no, no twilight trailer.

It is unheard of! Nobody I knew had read it until I brought it in and told my friends to read it. so nobody can really blame russel brand, he didn’t know how popular it was!
there is only one difference that is knowing your audice. The unknown host was fired from MTV Europe.

Thanks for at least making me feel better knowing I’m not the only one NOT seeing it. (ha ha) I saw Dark Knight, but didn’t get the trailer!
I guess I’m going to have to become a movie stalker, too. (I just wish it wasn’t so expensive!!) I figured FOR SURE I’d see it, I live in Los Angeles!! Go figure…
