It seems that there is an athlete from Brazil named, Isabel Swan. How much you want to bet she eventually gets asked about her name along with all the Peter Parkers, and Harry Potters out there? Thanks to Jordie for pointing this one out.
There is a more direct connection to the Olympics. American, all-around gymnastics gold medalist Nastia Luikin is a Twilight fan.

uhm, has someone besides a friend of mine ever noticed that there is an athlet called Cullen? Cullen Jones is a swimmer and won a gold medal in the 4×100m freestyle relay together with his teammates Michael Phelps Garrett Weber-Gale, and Jason Lezak.

Way cool! I was watching the olympics last night and during a commercial about the olympics the background music was by Muse!! I got all excited and my husband looked at me like I was nuts for getting excited for a commercial until I explained!! lol……..Anyone else hear it??

i nearly killed my friend’s tivo thingy when we were watching the olympics cuz they announced “isabel swan” on TV and i’m like “OMIEDWARD, REWIND THAT!” and my friend rewinded that part like a whole bunch of times so i could hear it over and over again. finally we stopped when she screamed at me that we were gonna break her tivo thingy majigy…
