Yay Benjamin!! Him, Garrett, and the Amazons were my favorite!!
Mine too! Wish they had a bit more screen time.

That part made me laugh especially when he was bouncing like a little kid!
The Egyptians were a close second! Also loved the Romains!

Thought the new vampires were cast well. Only exception was Alistair, he just didn’t fit my mental picture.
I voted for the Egyptians because of Benjamin.
That said — I wanted to add…
Alistair.
As annoying as Alistair’s character was, the actor did a fantastic job portraying him. He provided some much needed doubt among the gung ho crowd of red-eyed vampires.
Garret was amazing!Those scenes near the French Quarter in my old hometown was bringing back memories!

I wished we could have had more with the covens to see all their special powers used. But then the movie would be like 4 hours long…no complaints there though. However, I was surprised by how much I liked Alistair because I didn’t like him that much in the books and I really liked him in the movie. Then I just love the rest so much too!
Garrett was probably my favorite, Zafrina was pretty cool too!
I was so impressed with Lee Pace as Garrett. It was a great way to see the piemaker.
But, I also loved Joe Anderson as Alistair. He did so well.
For me it’s a toss up between Garrett and Benjamin,because they both proved they wanted to help stand with the Cullens against the Volturi.
LOVED Garrett and Benjamin but he Romanians CRACKED me up!! They were great!

I thought I read something about a french coven that was added, but I didn’t see it in the film.
What happened to the French coven? Did I miss something?
I know!! I remember seeing a red carpet interview with the actors of the “French coven” after BD1 (seen here http://www.twilightlexicon.com/?s=french+coven) I really thought they were going to be crucial to the twist but I never noticed them… Apparently they were on the Volturi side. Had seen the actor who plays Garrett in a film before soldiers girl it was interesting to see him in a different role.

The Romanians were one of the great comedy relief of the movie. Alistair provided the pessimistic possibilities. Garrett provided the gung ho against tyranny attitude. Benjamin the quiet strength of doing what is right.
The most amazing part is they did it all with so few lines and screen time! Credit to screenwriter, director and the actors for pulling that off so well.

Isn’t it funny how Garrett is the only vampire we have to watch murdering an innocent man, and yet here we all are like YAY FOR GARRETT! LOVE HIM!
