Over the past month several of you had emailed us over concerns that the New Moon graphic novel was changed to paperback instead of hardback, and then you emailed again when the date was pushed off from this month to April. Well we contacted Little Brown (the publisher) and we have a full update for you.
According to Little Brown the New Moon Graphic Novel part 1 is now slated to be in hard cover. It has also been confirmed for release on April 23, 2013.
There will be a part 2 (date TBA)

I’m quite disspointed to be waiting a LOT longer for my copy, but will get it as soon as it’s available… thank you for the confirmation TwiLex! =]
Thank-you for the confirmation, I appreciate you all for getting us that information. I’m still very disappointed that I spent the last few months eagerly awaiting this book only to find out (at the last minute) we have to wait 6 more months for it.

I think the delay might be so they can get it into hardback there was a huge backlash (at least in our emails) on softcover only.
Does anyone know when the soundtrack for breakingdawn pt2 comes out??

this sucks. and the only reason it got pushed back was people were complaining about it being in paperback. and now cause they put it in a hardcopy they pushed in to the date that was originally planned for the second vol. so now they have to set a new date for the second vol and thats probably going to be another year =/ i didn’t have any problem with it being in paperback. and i had pre-ordered it for oct 30th just to receive an email telling me that my pre-order was changed and so was the price. i’m pissed! really really pissed! so i cancelled my pre-order.
I’m so glad they decided to release it in hardcover… I have all the Twilight saga book in hardcover and for me it is worth the wait to have my whole collection the same…
I really hope that new moon graphic novel vol 1 & 2 come out on the same day. I don’t care if it’s on paperback or hardcover, as long as i get it. To me, i see no reason why they wouldn’t do it that way since they’re done with the films. Since they push the date back, thay should have more time workin on new moon graphic novel vol 2.
